We are happy to welcome you in our holiday home ideally situated in the picturesque harbour of BARFLEUR, at the end of North Cotentin Peninsula and listed as one of the nicest villages in France . The house offers three newly redecorated bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the first floor and an independent bedroom+ WC and shower room on the ground floor which is great for friends, youngsters or members of the family who wish to be private yet sharing your holidays. There is a kitchen, a sitting room and a south facing veranda which offers a nice view on the château. The terraces and garden will allow you to enjoy your meals outside, from breakfast to apéritif and BBQ., The house is only 3 minutes walk from the shops, bakers, fishmongers, grocery, supermarket, cafés and restaurants. There are several beaches in Barfleur and all along the coast which are great for swims, walks, fishing and enjoying life by the seaside, resourcing yourselves and practising activities without stress.

Barfleur is situated in Val deSaire, on the North of Cotentin Peninsula; 20 km from Cherbourg, the Landing beaches and the D.Day sites.Only 1h30 from Bayeux's Tapestry and 2 hours from Mont Saint Michel, it is an good base to visit Normandy and its cultural, historical, patrimonial and architectural treasures. The coast is a very preserved environment with rich fauna and flora, miles of country and coastal lanes for walking, cycling and horse-riding. Being situated on a peninsula, the micro-climate offers exotic vegetation, mild weather and you can always find a sheltered spot on the beach without going to far! The region is also famous for its delicious local dairy products, its sea food: crabs, lobsters, oysters, mussels, cockles, its organic vegetables and its cider and Calvados.
