Comfortably appointed apartments, which are nestled amongst the spacious grounds of Glitter Bay, lends itself to a little bit of heaven in Barbados. Each one offers a garden, pool or ocean view from the balcony or patio of this Spanish style building Glitter Bay offers a tranquil oasis with freedom to do as much as you wish or do nothing at all. The spacious gardens surround the large fresh water swimming pool and large separate wading pool. The wide expanse of white sandy beach lends itself to romantic walks while the cool crystal blue ocean beckons you to swim or indulge in some snorkeling to watch small tropical fish dart in and out of the coral beds. Lazing under the shade of the umbrellas while sipping a cool cocktail and indulging in a good book is also an ideal way to spend your days. For the more energetic there are tennis courts and an air conditioned fitness room. With other resort facilities like concierge services and security it’s villa living with a twist!

Two bedroom two bathroom apartment on the fourth level in the third block in from the beach and is the only tru Penthouse. The open plan air conditioned with ceiling fan living area has a large open kitchen with black flecked granite counter tops, large fridge and is fully equipped. Complete with dish washer, microwave, ice maker, washer/dryer, blender, sandwich press and electric BBQ grill it has a full range of matching crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and bake ware to delight any cook. The living room has two large double seat sofas in muted taupe and yellow (one is a pull out bed), flat screen TV, cable and DVD player, CD player, Bose dock, with a selection of DVD and CD's. The living room opens to the spacious balcony with round ,mosaic table seating 6 and a separate seating area with wall seats, two sea grass arm chairs and mini bar area - ideal for pre-dinner cocktails while watching the sun set through swaying palms. Holetown is just a quick 3 minute drive away from Glitter Bay or a leisurely 10 minute walk away. There is a monument indicating where John Powell landed in 1625 to claim the island in the name of England's King James. It is now a hub of activity with fantastic restaurants, bars, night spots, cafes, shops, boutiques, supermarket, banks, 24 hour petrol and convenience stores, 24/7 medical facility, post office and the list goes on. Everything is close at hand including duty free shopping for clothing and jewelery. You will need your passport and your landing card to purchase duty free items. Except for cigarettes, alcohol and some electronic items, duty free purchases are given to you. Close by is the St James Parish Church which is the oldest consecrated church on the island. Every year usually the first week in February Holetown celebrates with a street festival - activities include free musical and entertainment evenings, car parade and of course great local food!

The bedroom opens to the spacious balcony through french type sliding doors. There is a small LCD TV with cable. The second bedroom has three beds, two which can be made up as a king and one fold out futon. The bedroom has a LCD TV, DVD player and cable. Complimented by plush taupe and aqua blue drapes it is very sleek with cream wood side tables, large dresser and mirror. Both bedrooms have plenty of cupboard space and both have hair dryers. Linens are provided. Glitter Bay 309 and 409 have the same owners so they are very similar in decor.
