Had a wonderful 50th Birthday here with my family and would definitely recommend this flat to others. Lots of great restaurants in this area "the Swan", the pub at Hammersmith Tube Station has great fish & chips and great and cosy atmosphere. Try the North African Auzoo at 375 King Street. Great tasty food, friendly staff and incredibly cosy restaurant. Dont miss the huge Westfield shopping centre a 6 min walk from here towards Shepherds Bush. Soo many shops and a wide selection of food in the forecourt. Thanks Sarah for all the information you've given us - an a sincere thank you for the wine for my birthday. We will be back!

A BEAUTIFUL WEEK IN LONDON!

  • 4 of 5
The apartment is well equipped, the kitchen has all you need for cooking. In the lounge there is a large sofa-bed. Just the bedrooms n°2 is a bit small to contain a double-bed because there is no space for luggages nor a wardrobe for clothes. At only 5 minutes of walk there are two stations, Sheppard Bush and Kensington Olympia, so you can go everywhere you want to visit London. The neighborhood is nice and safe, we often walked around to get to Tesco (near Sheppard Bush Station) to buy some foods or to Pizza express, 5 min of walk around the corner. We never met Sarah, we didn't need to make a call 'cause we didn't have issues in the flat. We were 5 people, but I think the apartment is comfortable for 4. We enjoyed our stay there and surely we would recommend it.

QUIET AND CHARMING FLAT AND PERFECT PLACE TO STAY

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time in London. The typical London flat is very nice and well equipped. The area is very quiet and safe. We appreciated the convenient location…close to the tube, many buses, shops, restaurants... After days of intensive visits, we return with pleasure in our apartment in this quiet neighbourhood.

We enjoyed the experience of the west Kensington neighborhood. If we get a chance to return to London, we would like to stay in this apartment again where we felt very comfortable.

Highly recommended! ;))

PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

  • 4 of 5
This apartment was clean, well kept and relatively easy to find. We did have a 'key' issue on our arrival but the owner's father, who we contacted by phone, was excellent and was able to help us through this easily.

The location of the apartment was good. While it was a tube ride to the city proper, it was conveniently located between two stations (although we recommend Shepherds Bush station as the tubes left every few minutes) and was about a 5 minute walk to London Westfield which was also located next to Shepherds Bush Station. We also found the Europcar hire place next to Kensington Olympia excellent for hiring a car for an easy drive into the country.

Inside the apartment, the decor was modern and well looked after. It is quite small but was fine for our family of four for a week's stay.

We also found the general area quite safe to walk around. This was important as we had kids with us.

Although we didn't actually meet the owner, we found her easy to deal with and had no issues with payment etc although a little more communication with arrival and departure issues might have reduced our stress levels a little.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in this area. It was good value and helped us to create wonderful travel memories of our stay in London.

AN ENJOYABLE AND AFFORDABLE SPOT IN LONDON

  • 5 of 5
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat was as described - clean, well-outfitted kitchen, quiet neighborhood and a 5-minute walk to Sheppard's Bush tube station. After a full day of walking all over London to see the sights, we always looked forward to getting back to the flat and putting up our tired feet before heading round the corner to any one of the great pubs for dinner. It's centrally located enough for convenience to sights but just enough outside the busy pace of those areas that you can relax in the quiet of the neighborhood. The flat was comfortable for 4 people - adequate closet space for luggage and clothes. Tiny kitchen but typical of many London flats. The owner, Sarah Green, was easy to contact with questions or queries. Very very helpful. Finally, it was thankfully affordable. London is an expensive city and our trip was more varied and interesting because of the affordability of this flat.

HERMOSA PROPIEDAD LONDINENSE

  • 5 of 5

W14 is a beautiful location in West London. You get the best of both worlds as it is a short journey to the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus and Bond Street whilst being a short walk from the River Thames and the leafy spaces of Holland Park; you can jump on a bus to South Kensington to visit the Natural History Museum or Victoria and Albert Museum; or you can stroll down High Street Kensington to check out some shops and cafes which follows into Kensington Gardens and into Knightsbridge. Locally, there are some great restaurants and cafes for breakfast or a leisurely coffee or you can visit some of our well known local gastropubs. We are a 15 minute walk to the River Thames where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the world pass by. The latest addition to the area is 'Westfield' which is 10 minutes walk towards Shepherds Bush - this is currently Europe's largest shopping centre.
