Villas Kalypso overlook Nissaki on the most favoured North East coast of Corfu about a kilometre from the sea in the quiet hillside village of Apolosies. Car hire is essential.

Stunning panoramic views of sea and mountains, to Corfu town and Albania.

Two separate villas, Kalypso and the Olive Press share a courtyard, swimming pool and sun terrace. There is an option to book the villas separately or together for large parties. If only one villa is required then the other will remain unoccupied ensuring your privacy to enjoy your holiday uninterrupted.

Five bedrooms, four bathrooms (two ensuite) and plenty of living space easily accommodating up to 10 people, plus a cot. Air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, televisions and DVD players.

The North East coast of Corfu has numerous pretty coves and beaches each with their own laid back tavernas in which to wile away the heat of the day on shady terrace.

Apolosies is on the hillside above Nissaki on the north east coast and within just a few miles are the lovely beaches of Nissaki, Agni ,Kaloura and Kalami and further to the north, Kassiopi.

There are supermarkets in Nissaki and the beach there has many very good tavernas right on the waters edge.

Nissaki has water sports and a diving centre and you can hire a boat for trips along the bay. Barbati is just a few miles to the south and Ipsos is only a few more miles where you can find a more lively night life.

Kassiopi to the North has a lovely harbour surrounded by tavernas and there is also a range of shops.

Mount Pantokrator is the highest on Corfu and creates a backdrop to the villa you can drive to the top to see the views and the monestry.

Very nice villa with excellent views in Nisaki

We booked the villa two days before arrival and worked all details out with the owner. The villa was very nice and all clean. The villa is located some way up the hill side, so a car is a must. It is a very quiet and private. We were 100% happy about our stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We stayed as a family of 6 adults to celebrate my retirement. We were looking for somewhere which would meet the needs of mid twenties to 50 somethings. Everyone in the party thoroughly enjoyed the stay - there was plenty of space to be together or to be separate. All said they would like to come again.

We mostly ate outdoors and there was a good bbq. The views were absolutely fantastic and changing weather paterns, shipping etc gave plenty to look at - binnoculars essential!

The pool was small but good to cool off in and there was a nice shady area as well as space to sun bathe.

The road up to the villa was unnerving at first as it is very steep, winding and narrow - you do need to take care. If possible don't arrive for the 1st time in the dark if you are driving. Younger members of the party quickly identified a pedestrian short cut down to the local beach and reckoned it took about 30 mins to walk back up.

We found the villa very clean and comfortable. We ate at a variety of taverners and didn't have a bad meal. We found 'Vitamins' on the main road very good and impressively friendly. They even gave some of our group a free lift back up to the villa one evening when the car was needed elsewhere.

We had a fantastic week and would thoroughly recommend it to friends and family. Both villas were very well equipped, cool, clean and spacious. Outside areas were well looked after and the views stunning. The pool, although not big, was lovely. Some visiting neighbours' cats were a welcome addition for animal lovers. The only downside is the steep, bendy and narrow road up to the villas - a hire car is essential. I found it a bit daunting at first but feel proud of the improvement in my driving skills! The other driver loved the excitement of the hairpin bends and meeting cars coming the other way.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

This is a delightful villa, well-furnished, tastefully decorated with superb facilities, lovely patios with shrubs and trees all in a peaceful location. The views are stupendous and well worth the long (sometimes hair-raising) climb up from the coast road. The air-con was good and not too noisy. The pool is small - fine for a cooling dip but dont expect to do any lengths - the seas better for a lovely swim.

Heaven in Corfu

This is a great place to stay. The villas inside are well designed, clean and very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped-very new. They are a very contemporary mix of traditional Corfoit buildings with modern interiors. The Olive Press, has two lovely modern bathrooms, one with a gorgeous spa bath. The location is in the up-market and prettiest area of Corfu.
The views are really spectacular and we felt it was very good value for the high standards achieved. It is at the top of a hill, but you won’t be disappointed.
There are lots of paved areas in shade and sun where you can relax, eat, drink and take in the views. Two weeks passed by all too quickly.
