We have 3 apartments in this handsome 200 year old building, which was once a hotel, and has recently been sympathetically converted into en-suite apartments of a luxury standard - 4 star Tourist Classification awarded June 2009. The location is superb, right in the town centre, opposite Morzine church, next to the Dranse river and just a stone’s throw from the supermarket, boulangerie, bars and restaurants. 5 minutes walk up to the lifts at Pleney, but you can also hop on the 'D' bus which runs in a loop round the town centre and stops by the church. The tennis club and wonderful Morzine heated open-air pool (summer) and new covered public pool are 5 minutes walk down river. Each apartment has a parking space and a secure ski and boot locker at ground level. There is a lift.

Mountain Highs Service: Mountain Highs - We are a small independent company, owned and run by Rachel Pullen and Dean Reed, which has been operating catered and self-catered ski and snowboard holidays in Morzine - Avoriaz, France for the last 16 years.

Mountain Highs Service - Our aim is to provide high quality, smooth-running and memorable winter holidays. We run a range of excellent chalets and apartments in Morzine, and also airport transfers from Geneva. In addition, we can help arrange freelance catering or delivered dinners, child care, the highest quality ski and snowboard instruction and reliable ski and snowboard equipment hire. Many non-skiing activities such as snow shoeing and parapenting are also available in the valley.

Our experience is drawn from many winters and summers catering chalets, ski guiding, driving transfers and managing self-catered chalets and apartments. We live in the area and manage all our accommodation ourselves, ensuring that all your needs are looked after in the resort..

Family Information: If you are coming on holiday as a family, Morzine has plenty to offer children of all ages. There are weekly events organized by the Tourist Office which range from Torchlit Descent to clowning displays and face-painting (see the “Family” information on the Morzine website) Morzine has the advantages of a short transfer from Geneva (1 hr 15 min), a good choice of ski schools with children’s courses, and several options for good quality childcare. Most of our accommodation is child-friendly and we have 16 years experience of accommodating families (please ask us when booking for cots, highchairs, child seats on transfers and childminding). The town itself is easy to get around on foot and with baby buggies, as the roads and pavements are quickly cleared of snow, and there are several easy walks downstream and upstream from the town on specially laid out paths.

We have small children ourselves and we know that the mountains are a great environment for children!

Morzine in Summer: If you like Morzine in winter, then you’ll love it in summer! It’s the same town but seems so different; bright flower displays spilling from every balcony, green pastures all round, colourful parapentes up in the azure sky, the tinkling of Alpine cow bells amongst the wildflowers up on the slopes. There’s such a variety of activities and sports to try, ranging from the increasingly popular mountain biking and hiking to golf, parapenting, tennis, adventure parks, whitewater rafting and via ferrata. Many of these activities are suitable for families with children, which means that you can have an active and interesting summer holiday, keeping everyone happy! 25 Portes du Soleil ski lifts are open in the summer (click here for a summer map) enabling you to get up high for spectacular walking or mountain biking – in fact the whole Portes du Soleil circuit can be covered in a day on mountain bikes once you get up to intermediate level.

APARTMENT H is an excellent choice of apartment for 4 couples or 2 families. There is an open-plan lounge/dining room featuring a curved built-in fireplace with a sliding glass front, and cream leather furniture in which to relax and unwind after a hard day on the mountain! The streamlined kitchen area has excellent facilities and lovely dark granite work surfaces. Beautifully finished and decorated, the apartment is supplied with pure white cotton bedlinen and matching towels. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and built in wardrobes, plasma screen TV, en-suite bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC. Bedroom 2 is a double with an exterior shower room and WC. A flight of stairs integrated into the beams above the dining table leads up to the top floor, which is built into the eaves of the building and features all original beams and wood. Bedroom 3 is very large and has 2 single beds, and an en-suite shower and WC. Bedroom 4 has a double bed and en-suite shower/WC.

* Airport transfers to and from Geneva in our licensed minibus: the rate is €58 per person return for 4 people, dropping

down to €47.50 pp return for 8 people.

For larger groups or smaller groups please contact us with your flight arrival and departure times for a quote.

* Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination

of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, children's suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a

dinner delivery service.

* Grocery delivery prior to arrival; you just send us your request list and we'll buy it for you fresh on the day and put it

all in the apartment ready for you.

* Lift passes ready on collection: if you pre-book your lift passes with us we will have them ready for you on arrival in

the chalet. These can be pre-paid or paid on arrival in resort.

Good afternoon Rachel and Ruth,

We just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help with all parts
of our booking and checking in and just wanted to say a big thank you
for such a lovely apartment....

We all enjoyed it so much....

The apartment itself was so lovely...just the right amount of space
for us all....only one thing we would suggest is, the rooms upstairs
could do with space for hanging up clothes...but apart from that....it
was great...

As for the location, it was spot on....good for all the things we
needed, Dixie's Bar and Mama's were great and great location for Du
Pain, Cart ~Four and the the all important bus stop....and had the
bonus of parking right outside....

We would highly recommend it and would love to come back.....

Thanks again for a very professional, helpful and above all, friendly
services from start to finish...

Please note we also have a third apartment within this building - Apartment C, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 - email us for further details. Each apartment has a parking space next to the building and is centrally heated (a combination of underfloor heating and radiators). Each apartment has a walk-in ski locker at ground level (please note, we cannot take bookings for people with mountain or road bikes - there is no suitable secure storage for bikes in the building and they cannot be brought into the apartments). All apartments are strictly non-smoking. There is a lift inside the building (especially useful for Apartment H, for people with limited mobility). Apartment D has 3 balconies - two on the main floor, and a third balcony shared by the two bedrooms and also overlooking the river. Apartment H has one small balcony overlooking the Rue du Bourg. Apartment C has balconies runnign the lenght of both floors, overlookin the river.
