St. Helen's village is a beautiful getaway on the sunny south east of Ireland, only a little over 2hrs drive from Dublin airport & a mere 5min drive from Rosslare euro port. Our house is situated on St. Helen's golf course (a reputable 27 hole golf and country club offering great food and bevs). Only 15 mins drive to the historical town of Wexford with ample sights and activities, from hiking the 'wicklow way' trail, to visiting the many cultural splendors: Irish national heritage park, Johnstown castle gardens & Irish agriculture museum ,slade castle, tintern abbey, the saltee islands (bird sanctuary),ss dunbrody famine ship in new ross, jfk arboretum and kennedy homestead...Other activities on the grounds include tennis,basketball & a large play area for the little ones.with our own private access to one of Ireland's most beautiful sandy beaches, it is also an ideal spot for rest/ relaxation /yoga/meditation...with fresh sea air.

Closest supermarket and bank only 7 mins drive and plenty of great local restaurants and pubs with a vibrant nightlife. with plenty of activities for the action seekers, such as:diving,biking,walking,hiking, riding, golfing, sailing,fishing, tennis,basketball...and plenty of serenity for those seeking a more relaxing, tranquil style vacation on the shores of st. Helen's bay or by the ruins of st. Helen's church .

Site well maintained with plenty of space bewteen properties, bungalow was clean and with all facilities for our short break. It was close to the ferry port and had good connections to the main roads to Wexford, Dublin etc.

The owner was very good with his communication during the booking procedure and would recomend this property for anyone who would like a relaxing break with all ammenities close by.

We spent last week at this property and we had a wonderful time. THe house is well equipped and very restful to be in. We felt at home in the best sense. The location is great - children's playground two minutes walk away, tennis courts, plenty of green space, no feeling of being crowded by other houses. Wexford has lots to offer if the weather isn't great including a playzone indoor playground for kids. The beaches near the house are beautiful - very child friendly, lots of rock pools to fish in and sand to make castles. Only quibble is a small one and that is the idea that they the beach is a stone's throw away. Maybe - if you are an olympic athlete. But it's still only an easy ten minute walk through a lovely golf course so we have no real complaint!! We had a wonderful week all in all and would definitely consider renting this property again. Great value!

this place rocked! i was able to get my golf , cliff walking in while the kids played in the ocean. the unit itself was clean and had everything we needed. location was amazing, easy to get to and everyone we met were very nice. wish they had places like this back home in da usa

right on the coast of the sunny south east a spitting distance to the ocean,we loved this quaint house.the golf course was well maintained,challenging but fun.the views were out of this world.the cottage was immaculate and the owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs.we had plenty of good food and entertainmen-either in the clubhouse or in the local pub s nearby-this is where we spent most of our nights!!!
