A little bit of Paradise with quick access to white sand beaches!

I stayed at the St.Tropez townhouse for 5 nights this past March with two of my young adult children. The accommodations were even nicer than depicted in the photos and much more spacious than I had anticipated. Both bedrooms and a full bath are on the upper level with lovely views from the two balconies...especially the master bedroom. I sat there each morning and watched the sun rise while listening to the songbirds singing all around the property. So peaceful and relaxing!
The living room/dining room are very spacious and comfortable. There is a large balcony off of this room and on cool days, we were able to lay in the sun (out of the wind) and eat our evening meals around the patio table (also found on this balcony). Most nights, we cuddled together on the leather sofa and watched a movie together. The large-screen television was wonderful and easy to use.
The townhouse has been beautifully and tastefully decorated and the colors of aqua and kiwi can be found throughout the home. The kitchen was adequately equipped for any style of cooking, though I would have liked a hand mixer, a small food processor and a coffee grinder as well. I do a lot of organic, gourmet cooking at home and was pleasantly surprised to find an organic grocery store and bakery just 1/2 block from the property.
The beach access is a very short walk from the townhouse and there were lifeguards on duty. Colored flags are raised each day to warn swimmers of any potential danger, such as strong currents or rip tides. I liked this feature, as it allowed me to let my kids venture out on their own without worrying about their safety.
Since it was quite cool during our stay, we didn't do a lot of outdoor activities other than our morning and evening walks along the beach. However, there's a wonderful bike shop just 1/2 block from the house with bikes of all shapes and sizes. In addition, there's a bike path that follows the entire length of highway 30A and takes the rider thorough many of the quaint seaside villages that are located along this stretch of road. This is on my "to do" list, the next time I return to Blue Mountain Beach.
All in all, we had a delightful and relaxing stay at the townhouse and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a slow-paced, laid back, beach vacation. If you want large crowds and lots of activity, head east to Seaside or Watercolor. But if you're looking for peace, serenity and relaxation, then St. Tropez is the place you want to be!
