Overall, we loved our stay in the beautiful house on the bluff. The house was clean and well kept and we loved all the windows that allowed cool breezes to blow in when they finally came! The views were breathtaking and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. A few more comfortable outdoor chairs would be a nice addition The large kitchen table provided plenty of room for nightly games and, of course, snacking:):). We do have some concerns. During our stay the weather was extremely hot. Even with the fans, it ws pretty uncomfortable in the house, even at night. The addtion of air conditioning would certainly be a plus, and we noted there is an air conditioning unit at the back of the property. Also, the fridge wasn't working properly and foods and drink were not really cold. Toilet flushing was also a problem in the main bathroom. Finally, an investment in more towels and washcloths, plus face towels both bath and kitchen would be another big plus. Our washcloths were so rough and worn, they scratched during showers or bathing!!.... We loved Glen Arbor, the many wineries, the quaint restaurants in Glen Arbor and Suttons Bay, the easy drive to Traverse City and the gorgeous dunes. We loved all of our excursions while we were in the area. Overall, it was a lovely time away from home and overall, we loved your beautiful home.
