Good value

Overall, I would say that the condo is a pretty good value. If you're looking for a place with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and breath taking ocean views then keep looking. However, if you're looking for a nice, clean and comfortable place in a good location, then consider this unit.
I found Las Mananitas to be very conveniently located. It is a very short walk to a large American style grocery store as well as several restaurants. We had our two young kids with us (ages 2 and 5) and everything was close enough that we were able to take the kids without having to use the stroller. There is also a nice playground and a rental car company within walking distance as well. If you plan to just hang out at the pool and the beach, you probably don't need a car. We initially decided not to rent one, but later decided to take a trip to La Paz, but for the most part, we really didn't need one. The unit is very close to a pool. Unfortunately, during our stay we weren't able to use it as the water was just too cold. However, there are several additional pools in Las Mananitas.
It should be noted that during our stay neither the phone nor the internet worked. We spoke to a young lady in the front office and she told us that the phone company was supposed to come out and get it fixed. It wasn't fixed by the time we left, but it wasn't a big deal for us.
The condo had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. There is king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room which provided enough sleeping space for us.

Owner's Response: Hi---the internet and the phone are now up and running. They tried to fix while this renter was there, but the 'do not disturb' sign on the door prevented them from entering. The pool off our patio is in complete working order and very warm. Thank you!
