This beautiful, romantic country house in the middle of pure nature is a perfect place to relax. It is situated in the quiet, northern part of Ibiza, blends in a very harmonious way with nature – we have our own natural water from the mountains, solar energy and organic gardens. ‘Lotus House’, the cottage, is a completely individual unit with its own outside kitchen, bathroom and terraces. Surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean and tropical gardens. We also offer Yoga and Qigong classes and various types of Massage. A perfect place to regenerate and re-balance yourself. Details ‘Lotus House’: Various sitting areas – 2 terraces, a small platform to practice yoga, stunning views. Bright, one-room house with 2 single beds (can be made into a double), Outside kitchen, sheltered, fully equipped. Cleaning: weekly, Linen and towels changed weekly.

Ibiza town is a 20 min. drive away, the charming old city of 'Dalt Villa' with its picturesque houses and narrow streets, boutiques, bars and restaurants. The villages of 'Sta. Gertrudis' and 'San Joan' have both a very open and alternative lifestyle, plenty of cozy bars and restaurants. We'd recommend to rent a car, like this you are completely free to explore the hidden corners and beautiful spots of the island.

We discovered Lourdes' place by chance, last minute, when we were getting disenchanted with the naff, overpriced, characterless 'villas' littering Ibiza. What a haven. It's about 2km down a bumpy, pine forested track in the stunning northern part of the island, so you feel thoroughly 'off piste' and away from the rest of the island. Lourdes has decked it out very simply, but beautifully. The heat of mid-summer in Ibiza means you're mostly outdoors, so you don't need tonnes of creature comforts. The fridge is cold, the shower lovely (moulded around huge boulders in its own little, mosaic room), the beds super comfy and everything's spotless. There are some delightful touches that show the sort of love Lourdes has put into this place (which is usually used as accommodation for the yoga retreat, hidden in the trees just down the hill): little star-like mirror shards in the bathroom ceiling, blue glass beads pushed into the adobe-esque walls. I could go on. If you're after Ibizan luxury, this isn't for you. But if you want a real retreat, a place with soul in one of the more remote corners of Ibiza (but only 25 mins from Ibiza town), this will be just the thing. I will be recommending it and, I hope, going back. Thank you Lourdes.
