About Andy

We are VRBO veterans and have successfully operated The Sheffingdell (#1 listing in Charlotte #319517) for almost two years. I'm Andy - I'm an East Carolina University hospitality management alumni and we help our VRBO guests enjoy more amenities at a lower cost than a hotel stay.

My experience was wonderful. The neighborhood was ideal. When I return for extended stay I will definitely stay here. The owners were helpful and respected privacy. The place was clean and easily became my home away from home.

What a nice experience

Awesome location minutes to major malls, loads of shopping and great restaurants. Nice quiet street with little traffic allows easy walks to greenway (paved walking area). Close to SC and cheaper gas too. Andy (landlord) responds to any and all requests in a very timely manner. First floor apartment with parking out front. Very convenient and private. We stayed for two months and had a pleasant time and fond memories of our stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+

Great Location

I was looking for a reservation for Charlotte, North Carolina for the Democratic National Convention. All the hotels in Charlotte were sold out for the convention date. The only hotel rooms I could find were in Belmont . My friend told me to check on VRBO. I am so glad I did. The owner was an absolute dream to work with. I explained my situation and exactly what I was looking for. The apartment sleeps two people but the owner knew I had four people, the owner volunteered to buy a queen size aerobed . Not only did the owner solve my sleeping arrangement , I got the apartment for an affordable rate for the week of DNC convention. I cant thank Andy, the owner enough. This apartment is located right off of 485 in Ballantyne. I was surprised the apartment was located in such a nice neighborhood right off of Carmel Road and Johnston Road. The location blew me away. It was nice and quiet. I really enjoyed having the washer and dryer right there. After being at the convention all day I enjoyed playing the arcade game and touch screen game. I was so entertainned I spent most evenings right there in the apartment. Listing was accurate in every aspect. I was surprised how new everything in the apartment was. The bed slept like a dream. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The apartment was close to restaurants and shopping. I was very happy. If I had business in Charlotte again I would stay again.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car
