Photos and Description of the Bolton Landing vacation house rental

A cozy private log cabin home located in downtown Bolton Landing. The house has stunning views of Lake George and its mountains and is set in completed privacy from any neighbors. If a relaxing quiet vacation home is what you are looking for...this is it!

The house has recently been renovated with brand new stainless steel appliances in kitchen and new floors throughout (hardwood in living room, tile in kitchen, and carpet in bedrooms). You couldn't ask for a better location on Lake George: we are a 5 minute walk to town which includes beaches, parks, boat rentals, activities, restaurants, bars, shops & much more. This is the perfect location for a family friendly holiday.

The house has three bedrooms and two baths (1 in master & 1 main) and a large loft area on 2nd floor. Total of two queen beds and two single beds giving sleeping for 6 on mattresses. The 2nd floor loft area has two pullout couches which can sleep up to 4 additional people. We also have a pack-n-play and a highchair for the little ones. The house has two porches which are perfect for sitting and enjoying the views or barbequing with the family. We have high speed wireless internet, multiple cable televisions and phones with free unlimited long distance.

MLK weekend

My friends and I stayed in the cabin for MLK weekend to go skiing at Gore Mountain only 35 min away from the cabin. Cabin was very conveniently located. The cabin looks even more beautiful than in the pictures. It's very spacious and enough beds and pull out couches to accommodate everyone. We were there during winter but the cabin was very warm and you could individually regulate the temperature in each bedroom, even the bathrooms! I thought that was really nice. I've rented cabins before and there is always the issue of not enough hot water... not here! We had plenty of hot water.
Nice kitchen with new appliances and they had everything we need to cook with and a grocery store and wine store walking distance.
Beautiful view from the porch, don't even need to be freezing outside cause it has a huge window in the living room overlooking the mountains and the lake.
I can't say enough nice things about this place! WE all loved it, we didn't want to go back!
Owner was very nice and returned our deposit promptly. We would definitely come back.

Our family (most days 6 of us - weekend 10 of us) spent a fantastic week in this beautiful, clean, well maintained cottage in Bolton Landing.
Of course the weather cooperated. Six beautiful days at the beach. We chose to drive to the Veterans' Beach as we had a toddler with us and it was perfect for all of us. We spent mornings and evenings on the porches and enjoyed the gas grill for our dinners. We also recommend Cate's Italian Garden for dinner as well as the adjoining pizza place. Breakfast in Bolton was great at the newly re-opened diner.
The owner of the cottage was very accommodating and helpful with our rental process.
We would definitely recommend this cottage for families of all ages.

Great escape!

My family (6 adults and 3 children) really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this home. It's a great location within walking distance to the beach, market, restaurants, and playground. My 5 year old loved the short walk to the icecream shop. The kitchen appliances are brand new and the home is well maintained. We most enjoyed the fantastic view of the lake and mountains from the back porch. We will certainly look to rent this property again next year. The owner was very nice and promptly returned our security deposit.

Nice Getaway

I really loved this place. Took a weekend trip with my family and I must say that the pictures does not do justice when you see it in person. Nice porch with a grill for BBQ - you can marinade your meat ahead of time and keep it in a cooler until you arrive and just drop it on the grill. The house has everything as described on the listing including all utensils for cooking and eating. Everything is walking distance grocery, restaurants,lake and water activities. The only downside was finding out the house was located close to a sewer plant, which let off a bit of odor in the air for a couple of minutes each day. But, don't let this sway you because it's did not ruin our stay. I am only mentioning this because I did not find out until I arrived at the property. The owner was very nice and helpful and I would definitely consider renting again.
