Recently built, very stylishly furnished, town house in Bosa

Set on the outskirts of town, below Malaspina castle, this property is ideal for all year round use due to its air con and warm air heaters.

Located in a residential area just a moments walk from the main cobbled thoroughfare of old Bosa town, this town house, on 3 floors, is in an ideal position to get the best from the town without being noisy. With its entrance to the rear, away from the street, and all balconies facing the same way, the terrace at ground floor level has outdoor furniture and lighting so you can enjoy some al fresco dining. It is from here you enter the property. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a balcony, large enough for a couple of chairs, the large windows allowing the sunlight to flood in. The lovely beach at Bosa Marina is a 25 minute walk following the course of the river Temo.

he town is set on the banks of the river Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia, it is possible to go up river as far as the Romanesque church of St. Peter dating back to 1062. The Temo valley is an area of fruitful orchards, olive groves and vineyards, having once being a flood plain. Around this area the prized wine, Malvasia, is produced. This vine needs the very limey soil found around the Bosa area, the locals are justifiably proud of this delicious wine. Teamed with the local pastries it makes a treat indeed.

The old historic centre of Bosa spreads up the side of the hill away from the river and is topped by Malaspina Castle on Serraville hill. The wonderful beach at Bosa Marina is a pleasant 25-30 minute walk away.

Notes

  • Prices are for the property per week, in UK pounds and include linen, towels (not beach) and cleaning. A 30% non refundable deposit is required on booking with the balance and breakage deposit due 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is a £150 breakage deposit refunded after final cleaning has taken place.
    Changeover day is flexible. Entry to the property is after 3pm and the property must be vacated by 10am to allow for cleaning.

An enjoyable stay in Bosa

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Bosa.

The house was clean and very comfortable. It was well furnished and had all the facilities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, which is not always the case in holiday houses; we enjoyed cooking for ourselves (using the lovely local produce) as well as eating out! I would also include your own wine and honey as "lovely local produce"....very nice!!

The information you provided in the house was very useful.

Charming house in lovely Bosa

Four of us stayed in Bella Bosa for a week to attend a wedding in Sardinia. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The rooms were spacious and both bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of wardrobe space. We enjoyed the terrace and ate breakfast there every morning. The weather was very hot and we were so grateful for the air-conditioning. the house is tucked away down a quiet lane with lovely views of the castle and only a few minutes walk from the old part of the town and lots of restaurants! Bosa is a charming old town with cobbled streets and a square with cafes. The market was excellent and the castle well worth a visit for the wonderful views, despite the steep walk. The beach resort of Bosa Marina is a short distance away and the the beach is lovley with clean sand and sun beds and umbrellas for hire
We all agreed that the house was quite a find, and we would be very happy to stay there again - and probably will! We had a great holiday.

Excellent week in Bella Bosa

Four of us stayed at Bella Bosa in the first week of July while we attended a wedding.
On arrival, following the excellent instructions, we found the property with no problem. It was clean, tidy and was very impressive.
Everything was as described, in fact it was better than described.
The information booklet in the property was fantastic, with details of everything in the area, from beaches to restaurants to markets and attractions.
The only problem we did have was with the air conditioning because the fuse for the system was not on. However once we had sussed this, the system was very efficient.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bella Bosa to anyone wishing to stay in the delightful unspoilt town.
The main street with all the restaurants on it was a 4 minute walk from the villa and a pleasant 20 minute walk takes you up to the castle where the views are worth the walk. The bar just outside the castle walls also serves very good coffee.
There is an excellent restaurant just at the the point of the bridge but I can't remember the name and also the Restaurant Borgo S.Ignazio which was extremely pleasant.

The stay was wonderful, the villa was in a great convenient location and we will make a return visit....Enjoy!
