The City of Henderson is strictly enforcing their 30-day minimum rental period. As such, we are restricted to just one rental group per month. Therefore, in order to cover our costs, we have been forced to require a 14 day minimum stay.
So, whether you want to just relax or have fun in a dolphin-themed, tropical setting, ‘Villa Fiesta’ is your ultimate private vacation spot. Set on a 1/4 acre cul-de-sac lot, this 3 year old home boasts a most exotic backyard.
The home itself has been built for comfort from its 2,500 sq. ft. space on 2 levels, porcelain tile throughout the entire lower level, carpeting throughout the upper bedroom level, a well-appointed kitchen, see-through fireplace and an open concept feel, furnished with the same casual comfort in mind.
The resort-style backyard contains everything you could ask for, from a solar-heated swimming pool (complete with swim-up bar, wet deck and waterfall grotto) and heated spa, to a complete living space that is well appointed with a stunning outdoor kitchen/bar, dining and living space, all furnished with modern resin wicker furniture. Other highlights include a 4-person infrared sauna, outdoor shower, a waterfall/stream that leads to a moat surrounding a gas fire pit, a raised patio for lounging, a covered balcony for watching sunsets and a lower terrace called the ‘Game Zone’.

A spiral staircase leads to the private lower game area with spectacular views of the mountains and Las Vegas strip. The games include a 50' shuffleboard court, 3 challenging putting greens, a bocce ball court and numerous games such as ladder ball, bean bag toss, jarts and water balloon slingshot into the desert.
The backyard‘s many water features are controlled through a single panel, including waterfalls, jets, lights and fountains. You can enjoy this tropical paradise worry-free since daily maintenance of the pool, spa and stream is included in the resort rates. There is no charge for the gas heater for the spa, although there is a $50-100/day charge to use the auxiliary gas heater for the pool depending on the month (no charge for solar heating).
The pool, spa and stream have all been built with the upgraded pebble tec finish. The pool has a built-in cleaning system and a swim-up bar with 4 stools, a large wet deck and a waterfall grotto. Over a dozen different-sized floaties along with numerous other pool toys are available for your enjoyment. The raised spa sits in a private corner of the backyard with beautiful views of the Las Vegas valley. The spa can accommodate up to 12 people with 2-level seating and has a heated waterfall grotto as well as numerous jets. A separate waterfall starting from the spa creates a small stream that leads to a moat surrounding a large gas fire pit. Three bridges cross the moat into the fire pit area with flagstone seating for at least 10 people.
The outdoor kitchen includes a raised bar with cement countertops that have recycled glass and glow-in-the-dark stones (that sparkle like stars in the evening). Built into the U-shaped kitchen is a 3 burner, natural gas stainless steel grill with an additional infrared burner and a separate side burner, a small refrigerator for drinks, a sink and large storage space.
An expanded covered patio not only covers the outdoor kitchen/bar but also the outdoor dining room, complete with the same modern resin wicker furniture. Nearby is the outdoor living room with a matching loveseat, two arm chairs and a large ottoman/coffee table.
Another spiral staircase leads to a place we call 'Top Side', a covered 2nd story balcony off the master bedroom with awesome views of the Las Vegas valley and surrounding mountains. This is an excellent spot to enjoy a nightcap or a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets. A hammock, telescope and chess set are also available for your enjoyment.
Although the summertime in the desert gets hot, we have you covered. Misting systems have been installed in the patio area, the balcony and even at the swim up bar. These systems, when in use, cool the area by almost 20 degrees. We've also taken steps to keep the indoors cool by installing UV sunscreens on the sunny sides of the house and remote controlled ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and family room.
So, although there are many casinos and shows to entertain you, why would you ever want to leave Villa Fiesta…..?
P.S. For even more detailed information on Villa Fiesta, please check out the 8 min. video above. Please note that there is no fence isolating the backyard swimming pool, the spa and the stream, so this property may not be suited for very small children.
Bruce is currently retired and resides in the Las Vegas area. Kara is still working and lives in our other home in Minnesota. She travels to Las Vegas once or twice per month and is looking forward to the time when she can move here full time.
The owners, Bruce and Kara, bought their new home in the Anthem Highlands subdivision of Henderson primarily because of the large lot, the privacy and the spectacular views. Villa Fiesta (the house of fun) was finished in early 2010 with the major overhaul of the front yard, the back yard and the lower game level. Many visitors have made statements that this resort rivals any of the major strip resorts in terms of beauty, function, views and fun activities.
If you enjoy being outdoors, then Villa Fiesta is your answer. You can cook in the outdoor kitchen, eat in the outdoor dining room, relax and read a book in the outdoor living room, watch a game from the TVs in the two outdoor bars, organize fun activities in the lower game zone and enjoy the pool, spa, sauna and fire-pit throughout the day and evening.
Southern Nevada offers much more than just casinos. Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire state park and Mt. Charleston are outstanding tourist attractions and just a short drive away. And for those hiking enthusiasts, just walk out our backdoor into Sloan National Conservation Area and see Big Horn Sheep, other desert wildlife and numerous Indian petroglyphs.
