Once one of the most famous restaurants in Looe, Osborne House has been restored to become one of the finest listed houses in the town. Crafted from local slate and stone, Osborne House provides a very spacious family home, perfect for summer or winter. Original features include wooden beams (one of which is reputed to have come from the defeated Spanish Armada), decorative encaustic floor tiles and traditional windows including a stained glass panel and original wooden sash windows. The open plan design is ideal for family and friends and comfortably sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms including three en-suite doubles, one twin and a double bunk room that sleeps 4. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor which is the height of luxury with an Italian stone floor, bateau style freestanding bath and walk in shower enclosure. Osborne House has the benefit of two parking spaces in the Millpool Carpark. Unfortunately pets are not permitted.

Looe is a vibrant, historic fishing port where one can choose from a host of activities including safe bathing from the golden sandy beach, rock pooling and whiling away the hours crabbing off the quayside. The coastline in this region is beautiful and is accessible by the scenic Cornwall South Coast Path. In addition, throughout the year Looe hosts a range of events including sailing regattas, a jazz festival, carnival week and even a duck race! A lovely picturesque railway running along the river connects East Looe to Liskeard giving further access to the national rail network.

  • On the first floor there are two double en-suits bedrooms, a twin room and a spacious children’s room with two bunk beds - sleeping four. The first double bedroom is beautifully furnished with a Victorian style double bed, wooden furniture and Laura Ashley textiles. The second double bedroom is beautifully furnished with whitewashed wooden furniture with a feature king size bed. The delightful twin room is furnished with traditional wooden sleigh beds and matching wooden furniture. The spacious children’s bunk room also includes a large chest of drawers and wardrobe providing plenty of storage. A flight of stairs leads to the master double room on the top floor which features a luxury double bed and quality furniture. All of the double rooms have en-suite facilities. A travel cot is available if required - please bring your own linen for this.
