BEACHES: Beachfront properties are expensive, and unless you plan on going to the beach everyday, this house is a great alternative. You can drive to several different beaches and get there quickly and easily from the freeways nearby. We supply the beach gear. (Chairs towels, umbrella, cooler)

Golf: Gold range & shop is 5 minutes drive from the house. Golf courses are 10-15 minutes drive

Other Activities: Mountain Hiking trails in the neighborhood, local pubs, bowling, movie theatres, symphony hall

Great location to all of SD Attractions

This home was in a nice quiet neighborhood of SD known as the Island in the Hills, and boy was it ever. We walked in Mission Trails Regional Park, enjoyed the vast view of the valley and golf couse below and cooked in the gourmet kitchen. The pool table was a hit with all in our party, hours of entertainment. The owners left us books, games and puzzles as well. Clean, convenient and comfy! This home met all our needs, we had 8 people in all, the linens were fresh, the towels were abundant, beach equipment was available (including a cooler), and about 15-20 minutes to Zoo, Beach, Downtown, Coronado, Sea World, Legoland, Wild Animal Park - we enjoyed the SD features without paying the beach mark-up price. It was a beautiful home tucked away in a lovely neighborhood that allowed us to cook our meals and save us money on our trip overall. The hot tub was a bonus each night after our tired feet needed a rest from all the walking we did every day. I'd stay here again and recommend it over any beach home, there is no noise, traffic or beach congestion but it is a simple drive to get to the shores if that is what someone wished to do, Grocery stores were near by with a great selection of fresh veggies, meats and dairy items too! Not too big, not too small, just right!
