Tres “S” Ranch is a luxurious 100 acre estate surrounded by 7000 acres of panoramic hill country. The ranch, located in an area known as 'Chalk Mountain', is a short 90 minute drive from Fort Worth, Dallas and the DFW Airport. Guests are amazed to find their stresses disappear as they escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enter this private country retreat. As guests drive into the estate they have a picturesque view of beautiful wild flowers and prairie grasses. An old fireplace and chimney from a bygone era stands sentry beside a working windmill that feeds a gold fish pond masquerading as a stock tank. Below the windmill are one of two fishing ponds located inside the fully fenced property.
At Tres “S” you will have the opportunity to view many kinds of wildlife such as wild turkey, deer, jack rabbits and maybe even a bobcat. There are 30 bluebird houses on the property; deer feeders; bird feeders; 2 bird baths and a huge purple martin house. The ranch is a great place for any wildlife enthusiast or bird watcher. There are two fishing lakes within the 100 acre property that can be fished by our guests. Lake levels are seasonal.
The two story “Ranch House' has four bedrooms available to our guests. The house is beautifully decorated with western style elegance. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with the finest bedding and comfort providing our guests with the most restful and peaceful retreat possible.
Ranch House: Four bedrooms available – accommodates 8-10
Second floor: Two bedrooms each with private bathroom, shower, king bed and 42 inch flat screen HDTV.
First floor: First bedroom - one set Queen over Queen bunk beds
Second bedroom: one set Twin over Twin bunk beds and office space
Full bathroom with shower on the first floor is shared.
The office area in the second bedroom is outfitted with two built in desks and accommodates a laptop computer for the executive that wishes to have dedicated space and privacy to take care of business. An all-in-one printer, scanner & fax machine is available upon prior request. WiFi is available.
The “Ranch House” features a gourmet kitchen with an array of cooking items that any chef will appreciate. The dining and living areas are connected to the large kitchen which allows full view of the 'Granbury stone' wood burning fireplace and a 52 inch flat screen 3D HDTV with surround sound.

The “Bunk House” is one of the great amenities of the property. Children will scream with delight and adults recall days gone by upon entering this 1000 square foot free standing one story structure just steps from the Ranch House. The bunk house has a wonderful screened in porch; teak patio furniture; full size bathroom with shower; small refrigerator; coffee maker and microwave oven. There are 3 sets of twin bunk beds, a couch and a round game table. A combination ping pong/pool table and a 52 inch flat screen HDTV with surround sound round out the amenities. This is the perfect escape for adults and children or can be an excellent location for a private business meeting.
Outdoor Patios
The incredible 1200 square feet of covered patios off the “Ranch House” offer our guests the perfect place to lounge and experience the spectacular sunsets that paint a brilliant orange and red masterpiece on a canvas of azure blue each evening. On cool crisp fall evenings you can snuggle up by the enormous wood burning fireplace and settle in to watch all the wildlife play. You may even find yourself curled up in the down filled hammock with a good book as the cool breeze rocks you to sleep.
Outdoor Entertaining
Our guests enjoy a fabulous view of the hill country from the expansive native flat rock deck that surrounds the beautiful salt water swimming pool adorned with limestone boulders unique to the area. The pool and deck area also features a rock faced hot tub with fountain and waterfall plus a large outdoor kitchen and bar constructed out of native rock - complete with a large charcoal grill, gas cook top, refrigerator and sink. You can chat with your guests as they sit at the bar to enjoy a glass of wine, an awesome feast and an equally awesome panoramic view of the hill country. Adjacent to the pool and outdoor kitchen is the pergola with an attached bath house and changing room. The covered area, complete with outdoor ceiling fan and lighting, is furnished with a large table that seats up to 10 people. Stereo speakers and beautiful outdoor lighting make this a most tranquil setting as you relax and take in the beauty of the natural rock and hill country scenery.
