This charming country cottage is situated in a tranquil hamlet, half an hour south of Cherbourg, less than 3 miles from the wide sandy Normandy landing beaches and only 2 miles from the market town of Sainte Mere Eglise, with its ancient church and commemorative war and farm museums. Relax in the large private garden or explore the historic and picturesque sites of the region, plus savour the delights of French cuisine in the many excellent local restaurants! The cottage has two large sitting-rooms, one overlooking the garden, the other forming the entrance room with open granite fireplace, a spacious separate kitchen and two bedrooms upstairs. Plus there is a bathroom in the new extension with thermostatic shower and Victorian roll-top tub. This holiday house is a comfortable and characterful home-from-home.
