The Pep-Inn at KHMR is our home away from home with ski-in/ski-out access(ski-in all the way to the front steps!!). Whether you’re looking for an action packed adventure or a relaxing place to unwind, this charming mountainside condo will not disappoint.
This is a premium top floor unit which is much quieter than the lower units and has a better view from the deck. It is located at the end of the street away from all the resort traffic. It is a (2) bedroom (1) bath condo that sleeps 5-6 with a queen, queen/double loft bunk and sofa bed. It is a very clean unit with heated tile floors, full kitchen, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, flat screen HDTV, satellite, blu-ray and most importantly a huge deck with bbq and private hot tub!
Located in the Aspens community, The Pep-Inn is surrounded by striking mountain views and endless outdoor experiences. In the winter, shred the legendary champagne powder, hit up the Dawn Mountain cross-country ski trails or take your snowshoes for a spin around Cedar Lake. Backcountry ski touring, heli skiing, cat skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and tubing are just some of the many other activities available. Summer opens up a whole new season of adventure. Hit up the Golden Golf Course or hop on a horse and take a trail ride. To get the adrenalin flowing, try the downhill mountain bike trails on KHMR or Mount 7. Still have time? Try hang gliding, white water rafting or paragliding. Nearby Cedar Lake offers a beach, swimming, fishing, small boat launch and the Moonraker trail network for XC mountain biking or hiking. Don’t forget to pay a visit to Boo, the local grizzly bear who lives on-hill in his 22 acre sanctuary. Like we said, you won't be disappointed :)
We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do!
**Please note that all Aspens units are accessible by stairs only, please advise if stairs are a concern prior to booking**
We love the mountains and everything this area has to offer. We enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, fishing, canoeing, golfing and hot tubbing with a few frosty beers!!
Paul purchased this townhome in 2012
We love the outdoors and have been travelling to Golden for years so we decided to get a place of our own. It is a cozy getaway that we use as our home base for outdoor activities or simply chillin' out all year round.
Since we regularly use our condo, it has all the amenities of home including a fully stocked pantry for the convenience of our guests. We also have access to a play-pen, high chair, bouncy chair and bumbo for those guests who are traveling with little ones and don't want to haul all the extra gear along.
We take pride in being the best hosts possible, we promise you`ll enjoy your stay :)
We recently visited Golden again and we were definitely rewarded with another great place to stay through VRBO.
This is a really nice 2 bedroom plus pullout condo that comfortably sleeps 5. The place is very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The beds have nice linens, the pillows are comfy and the kitchen cupboards aren't bare as they've left a few essentials, which are so nice to have when you're on a short stay. The view from the deck is great and the 4 person hot tub is perfect for relaxing at the end of a hard day on the hill. The TV and Blueray player are great and there's a few places in town where you can rent a movie to watch. The location is ideal for skiing and would work equally well for biking.
We highly recommend this condo, it's a great place to stay!
Clean, comfortable, close to slopes, BBQ, Hot tub, fully appointed and tastefully decorated, perfect for a short getaway. Exactly what we hoped for, short of a little more fresh powder. Locals say it was an unusual year? Sounds like it was worse elsewhere! I would definitely go back, summer or winter.
MTL skiers. Thanks!
We recently stayed at the Pep-Inn Feb 12 through 16 over Family Day Weekend with our 9 and 11 year old sons. What a great family retreat! It's warm, homey and inviting, nicely decorated, very clean with comfortable beds and everything you need to cook your own meals while there (including a full bbq on the large deck). We also enjoyed the collection of movies, board games and the private hot tub on the deck. Kicking Horse is a mostly intermediate to advanced mountain and so definitely had enough to challenge my husband and two sons while I preferred to stay on some of the 'milder' slopes. Saturday night (Valentine's Day) we made a reservation at the Eagle's Eye Restaurant at the top of the gondola --Canada's most vertical restaurant at 7700 feet. It was amazing --the food, the views and the experience. We will be back next year to both Kicking Horse and the Pep-Inn!
Although not skiers, this was an awesome little getaway for some much needed R"n"R! The "Pep-inn" has all the comforts of home, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The condo itself is beautiful and the view from the hot tub is amazing. The unit is well within walking distance to lots of pubs and restaurants. Try your hand at "Giant Jenga" in the Kicking Horse Saloon. The gondola ride to the Eagles Eye restaurant is a must do, The view is spectacular! The owners are awesome to deal with, and we would highly recommend the Pep-Inn.
This home is cozy and comfortable, has a great hot tub, lots of sleeping room, very clean, had all necessities that were needed, love the location. The owners were amazing to deal with, and they made it a breeze. We had a great family trip, and would defiantly return! We enjoyed Boo, the grizzly bear's birthday and the activities surrounding it at Kicking Horse. A great place to make memory's!
