The Casa degli Archi is located on a granite rock overlooking the beautiful Cala Cotaccia on the west coast of the Island of Elba. The house includes a living room, a kitchen and a toilet on the ground floor and two bedrooms (sleeping a total of 5 guests), and a bathroom on the first floor. The two large very scenic terraces for dining and sunbathing are unforgettable; there is also a small garden. The house is a little removed from the main road and you have to walk down approximately 70 steps to reach it. Several paths lead to the spectacular and pristine rocky beach of Cala Cotaccia. Other rocky or sandy beaches can be reached on foot, by car or by bus. The house is very private and quiet. Some of the most magic moments in Casa degli Archi are dinners or aperitifs on the terrace looking at the sun setting over the islands of Capraia and Corsica.

Our house is one of the most scenic on the north-western coast of Elba, the less visited by mass-tourism. It is a very wild and scenic area. Most of the coast is rocky but you can find many secluded coves with beautiful granite flat rocks and some sandy beaches. The vegetation is typically Mediterranean (maquis, evergreen oaks, pine trees, etc). You can do your shopping at the local shops in the nearby Patresi village or you can go to Marciana Marina or Marina di Campo (20 min drive) for bigger supermarkets. You can find restaurants and cafès in Patresi and in other closeby characteristic towns such as Marciana and Poggio.
