One hours drive will take you to either Belfast, Londonderry, Enniskillen lakes, the mountains of Mourne or to the north coast. The lodge is ideally situated to explore any part of Northern Ireland. Dublin is only one and a half hours drive from Mill Lodge.
If it is peace and tranquillity you want you will be spoilt for choice. Walking or cycling on peaceful country roads or nearby forests and a local country glen. All local amenities are within a mile of Mill Lodge. These include a friendly country golf course, go-karting, off road land rover driving, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. A visit to the Lavender spa is a must and is only two miles from the Mill lodge.
In the market village of Ballygawley you can enjoy hassle free shopping, crafts etc. Local restaurants offer the finest flavour of Tyrone cuisine or a barbeque is available on site. A car boot country market is only a ten-minute drive away, this is known to be one of the largest held in Northern Ireland.
