2 x 3 Bedroom townhouses,sleep 8 each, small complex communal pool & golf views

Casa Azul and Casa Roja are luxury furnished 3 storey townhouses on the Green 4 community, a small community of only 41 houses, overlooking the prestigious Nuevo Portil golf course.

Casa Azul and Roja have full air con hot and cold making them suitable for year round holidays in this unspoilt corner of Spain.

10 minutes walk to local shops and restaurants and the glorious 14 km of beach.

Casa Azul is south facing so has the added benefit of all day sun, partial covered patio with large table and six chairs and parasol and Casa Roja is south west facing so benefits from afternoon sun and the famous costa de la luz sun set.

There are several bread shops (also sell small selection of groceries, open year round), small supermarket, bars/restaurants and beach within 10 minutes walk of the casas' .

There are larger supermarkets in Punta Umbria. and Cartaya, short car journeys.

English Newspapers can be purchased locally at several hotels, which also have internet access.

GOLF.

Compared to the western Algarve and the Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz, Huelva and the Eastern Algarve are as yet “undiscovered.” Green fees are lower, the courses less crowded and less busy, making it much easier to get a start time that you want and to play a round in reasonable time and without delay.

Nuevo Portil

The course offers 18 golf holes par 71 in it’s 5841 metres lay out. Small slopes and some dog legs make it perfect to walk and very entertaining. Excellent facilities- training field close to hole 1, large putting green and chipping green. Golf club rental, private or group lessons, manual or electric trolleys. Plus all the services of a high quality four star hotel.

El Rompido

5 minutes by car. 36 holes on 2 courses, South Par 72 over 6148 metres and North(New) Par72 over 6095 metres, surrounded by the natural marsh of Las Marismas del Rompido and some fantastic views of the Atlantic.

Why JILL BARRETT chose Nuevo Portil

We have been visiting this area from 2003 and chose Green 4 because it is a small friendly complex with just 41 houses surrounding the pool and yet only a short stroll to shops,restaurants and beach.

Very safe for our boys to explore on their own!

The resort of Nuevo Portil is a year round resort with local shops, bars and restaurants all in walking distance of Casa Roja.

An excellent road network makes it a good base for visiting Huelva(the regional capital), the Coto Donna national park, the Rio Tinto area with the the town of Aracena(the caves are a must) and Jabugo famous for the ham

and Seville.

Casa Roja has a full information book of the local towns and villages as well as places of interest to visit, this information can be sent to you before your holiday.

Nice house, in Huelva

Toke some days, mainly to rest, in the end of the holidays (in Andalucia), and the house was perfect!
Stayed there (4 adults and 4 young kids), for a week. The pool was great (and also safe – isolated and watched), and the beaches around really perfect. 5 minutes by car, not crowded, warm sea, just perfect for lots of sand castles.
The house was spacious and with all amenities. We toke all meals outside, and it was really nice.
A house to return!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

A perfect family holiday.

Just back from our stay in Casa Azul. We ( 2 adults and 4 young kids ) had a fantastic holiday. Accomodation was to a very high standard - quite spacious, very clean and easy to keep clean. Also lots of info from the owner prior to travel which was really helpful.

The kids loved the pool which was fenced off and had a life guard so very safe.

The beautiful sandy beaches are really clean, with lots of shower facilities. Lots to do in the area - the waterpark was the highlight for our children; also played mini golf twice, ate in Las Dunas whilst the kids played in the restaurant garden and we went to Aracena for the day.

We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends
