About Michael Marks
We've been searching for a home in the Village of Del Mar for many years. Finally found the perfect location... 6 minute walk to the Village, great restaurants and arguably the best beach in San Diego. In low tide we ride our bikes from Del Mar to La Jolla or go North to Encinitas. Minutes to the world famous Del Mar Race Track, you can literally spend a month at our home without getting into a car. We wanted a view, but did not want to fight for parking spots on the beach. Incredibly quiet but easy access to everything Del Mar has to offer!

Why Michael Marks chose Del Mar
We have been in love with Del Mar our entire life. Nestled in the Village, the neighborhood feels like Carmel, but has a year round temperature of 70 degrees. A 7 minute drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course, 5 minutes to luxury theaters, 25 minutes from the airport and walking distance to groceries or fine dining. We wanted the ability to avoid the car and provide a sanctuary for our kids and grand kids.
What makes this house unique
We invested both time and money into making the home warm and comfortable and also provide the technology that allows for great family memories. Whether you hang by the pool or go to the beach, take lots of pictures, snuggle by a fire and easily show your pictures on the flat screens throughout the house. We wanted a beach cottage feel with operable windows allowing for fresh air and tons of light. In the summer, we wanted walking access to the beach, but did not want to fight for a parking spot. Most importantly, a large lot with a comfortable back yard.
