Photos and Description of the Willmar vacation cabin rental

This is a cabin that has been in the family for 40 plus years. It is equipped with everything that your family will need to enjoy the woods and the sun. The cabin sleep 8. Three bedrooms and one bath with a shower. One main floor bedroom has a queen bed. Upper front loft has a Full bed and one twin. Back upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and one twin. Full kitchen with full sized refrigerator and oven/stove.

Microwave and coffee maker. Screened in porch with picinic table and lounge area. Fireplace is open and visible to all areas.
About Nathan and Stacy Reese

Family owned. The Reese family is originally located in Montevideo, MN. Bill Reese owned 'Wilson Clothing' in Montevideo. Yvonne now lives in Hudson, Wisconsin. Daughter Suzanne currently is located in California. Son Michael lives in Minneapolis, MN. Son Nathan lives in Hudson Wisconsin.

Why Nathan and Stacy Reese chose Willmar

This property was built by our family. Back when we built this cabin we were the last cabin on the lake front. Many families have come and gone since we first built. We have enjoyed a live time of memories here and feel its a great way to reconnect with your family too. Many trails surround this area, where you can walk throught the woods to your hearts content. Hearing the water boats and skiers on the lake is a comforting sound after many years of our family being active on the lake. Just minuites from Waterslide in Spicer. Also just miles from State park.

What makes this cabin unique

The fireplace is a great place to relax after a long day on the lake.

It seems no matter what the temperature is outside we have always

reconnected at this spot by days end. In early morning we have always enjoyed listening to the loons and sipping our morning coffee.

It doesn't matter what you enjoy, water, sun or quiet, there is a spot here for you. The cabin is just steps from water. 95 feet of beach direcly in front of cabin. Water is crystal clear and is sandy bottom with no weeds. Great for small children, water drops off gradually.

You can see the fish swimming from front of cabin deck!

Classic family cabin

This cabin has a great family cabin feel. We were looking for something that felt like it was our own weekend retreat, and thats exactly what we got. The decor was rustic, woodwork was nice, the porch was awesome, the lake clarity was great not to mention the fishing was fun. It took me 15 min of fishing the first day to snag a 32 inch northern, it wasn't hard to find good fishing spots all over the lake. If there was any downfalls it would have been the stove, a little outdated and not kid proof. Honestly though not really a big deal. Photos are accurate, cabin was in great shape, it had everything we needed. I was about to call and request another day (I should have), but had to go back to work. We hope to be back next year. A big thank you to the Reese family.

Our family (6) really enjoyed our recent 4-night stay at this property. Lake Florida was perfect.good water clarity and plenty of fish. We caught northern pike,bass,sunfish and crappies all in the same spot! The lake is plenty large for rec activities such as tubing and skiing too! The cabin is so close to the water and easy to watch the kids in the very shallow water along the lakeshore. The sunsets were so pretty! The cabin was as described with plenty of utensils,dishes, charcoal grill for our use..some of the appliances were dated but clean and worked well. We didn't go to any area cities as it was just too entertaining and relaxing to leave..We hope to return next year!
