Walking and Cycling:
If you like walking, road cycling or mountain biking there are many beautiful routes on the door step, through forest tracks or winding through beautiful villages and hamlets built in the traditional correzien stone. There is a large choice of easy family routes, or more difficult routes to improve fitness including very difficult and technical cycling. Bike hire is available through us.
Watersports:
The surrounding area is also ideal for watersports, including swimming, fishing and canoeing at the stunning local lake (l’etang de laborde, a ten minute walk), or descent canoeing and kayaking on the Dordogne with AND (outdoor adventure sports company based at Argentat and our local lake)
At Marcillac-la-Croisille (15-20 mins drive) there is a very large lake with a centre that does all manner of water sports and land based activities including sailing, waterskiing (July and August); ropes courses through the trees; archery etc. all of which are supervised by qualified instructors. This lake also has a supervised swimming beach through out the summer.
Group Events:
The Manor is the perfect place for a group event that can accommodate up to 23 people and cater for many more.
We have experience of hosting and accommodating Wedding parties, Family Reunions, Business Conferences and Birthday celebrations.
Within the grounds there are two excellent reception rooms for events that can hold up to 50 people in each. For larger numbers we can organize a Marquee within the large mature gardens.
We welcome the opportunity to host Baptism celebrations, Wine Tasting evenings, Walking, Fishing and Cycling Groups, as well as Automobile Touring Clubs (we have ample parking on site).

Ski:
If you don't want to ski everyday why not have a winter break in this picturesque environment and take a day or two skiing in the Cantal mountains where you have 3 resorts to choose from accessible for a day trip by car. Ski hire and day passes are very reasonable.
Golf:
There is an excellent 18 hole golf course about 40 Minutes away by car. Several people have commented that it is one of the best golf courses in France.
