With more skiing than many of the more famous resorts, if you are considering Grindelwald for the first time you won't be disappointed.
Grindelwald provides extensive skiing to suit all abilities, with a half pipe and snow park, and 20 km of dedicated tobogganing runs. Grindelwald's three ski areas- from the South facing area of First over to the North facing areas of Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg, the ski pistes face into the valley from all sides so you can tailor your skiing to the prevailing weather conditions.

For walkers there are 300km of marked hiking, walking and mountain trails, set in some of the most outstanding mountain scenery in the world. When was the last time you got up close to a crackling blue glacier?
Ski: Grindelwald has three main ski areas, Kleine Scheidegg, Mannlichen and First. The huge area of skiing provides an extensive range of slopes for all abilities and the surrounding mountains are breathtakingingly beautiful. There are over 230Km of ski area with 23 blue runs 34 red and 14 black. One of the greatest pleasures is skiing down one of the many wonderful routes from the top all the way back to the village at the end of a vigorous day. Grindelwald is very beautiful and the skiing is fantastic, not to be missed.
