Yaletown is known for its restaurants, shopping, and the wonderful seawall getaways for afternoon walks or biking on the water, or short ferry rides surrounding areas or interest. This condo is located close to Vancouver's infamous food and shopping hub of Robson, and few blocks from the arena and stadium, if you ever wanted to catch a concert or sporting event.
The condo is located 2 blocks from the ocean, where you can enjoy a scenic walk along the seawall to the beach. You are also only 6 blocks from Chinatown where you can find great dim-sum, shopping and night street markets. This condo is a 15 minute walk to to Creekside kayaking where you can rent a boat and check out some of Vancouver's infamous scenery. From Yaletown you can take the small aquabus ferry over to neighbouring Granville Island, to check out the famous farmers market, with the freshest selection of fruit, vegetables, and seafood on the west coast. Granville Island also features many artisan shops, and restaurant patios on the Oceanside.
Historic Gastown is also 10 minutes away, where you can find the famous steam clock, historic buildings, tourist shopping, and more restaurants. Or take a 10 minute bus ride to the world famous Stanley Park.
The condominium comes with a secure digital access key and a dedicated parking stall in the underground parking garage area that has similar security controls in place.
We both grew up in Vancouver, BC and live only 4 blocks from this property. Although we both spent time living in the US and Asia and did extensive traveling, we both wanted to return to our favorite metropolitan city to live in. We live only 4 short blocks from this garden suite and just love being in the center of everything and being able to walk to our favorite restaurants, sports game or lounge while offering space where we could safely bring up our beautiful baby girl.
Audrey Howatson and Tom Nimchuk purchased this condo in 2003
The patio we have is 430 square feet which looks out on Japanese Maple trees, and lavish gardens.
The apartment is just exactly what you need for downtown. A great location, an awesome terrace and pretty awesome price.
I've been living here for the last 6 months and I had great time also any tiny problem I had it was fixed pretty quick by my landlords.
Wow! Amazing location! You will not be disappointed! It has the most beautiful private patio surrounded by lush flowers and greenery! I felt right at home in this beautiful, cozy suite. Lovely kitchen, cute washroom with very relaxing deep soak bath tub, a peaceful living room and most amazing, the access to rooftop terrace, and hotel amenities. It has a big spacious bedroom with sliding door access to the patio, it felt so amazing waking up every morning with the beautiful view of trees and flowers and shrubs! I'm so happy I rented this suite, it honestly had everything I could ask for in a vacation rental. Property Managers Tom & Audrey were super friendly, very welcoming, and extremely accommodating. Any questions I had, they were so happy to be of assistance :)
I would definitely book this suite again anytime I return to vancouver. It made my experience here perfectly complete. Oh and the Chinese medicine clinic next door gives an amazing acupressure massage!! Super convenient!! ENJOY!!
This is a lovely pied a terre in Yaletown, small but efficient, with underground parking and washer/dryer. It's easy to drive in Vancouver, but costly to park, so garage was very helpful. The building is very secure, people friendly and our hosts, Audrey and Tom, were very helpful, providing brochures and suggestions and responding quickly to any questions we had. Location is terrific: a restaurant row is a block away, the waterfront park, good for evening strolls, ferry to Granville a few blocks away, and transit to everywhere close by. The apt. terrace and garden connecting to the adjacent hotel were lovely, but the street noise was too much for us. However, we could use the lap pool and whirlpool at the hotel, a nice perk. All in all a great place to stay.
The title says it all, Walk anywhere in downtown Vancouver from this superb base. 2 Minutes to the Yaletown restaurants, shops etc. Round the corner from Football stadium where we saw the Lions win. 2 minutes from all the shops and restaurants on Robson street. Nice walk to the rest of the downtown areas such as Canada Place, Davie Street, the main shopping centres, seawalls, beaches and the False Creek ferries for Granville Island etc. Owners were first class and very helpful. Would stay again in this great apartment in a brilliant city.
The location near Yaletown restaurants, and Stanley Park, and central Vancouver is great without a car. Most things are within walking distance or with Aquabus. The only problem we encountered was with the washer/dryer. The washer ran forever, and finally we just had to end it, and the dryer didn't dry the clothes even after 1.25 hours. We had to take our clothes to a Laundromat. Other than that, it was a good stay.
Great location. Good value. B class building but unit was very comfortable and well furnished/stocked w/everything you would need .easy reservation, access, check in and out. Owners very responsive. Not the 4 seasons but would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
All Yaletown restaurants, aqua taxi,Robson st ,library, waterfront within easy walking distance.
