Best stay in Playa del Carmen ever!

Having lived in Playa del Carmen for years it was great to go back for holidays with the family, we all love the town. Normally we always stay in a hotel but decided for this time to rent an apartment and see how that would work out. Honestly we were kind of hesitant at first but it was awesome! The whole service during the booking process was great, very friendly guy helping us out, and also very flexible. After booking I had to change my dates since I made a mistake and this was no problem at all. The day we arrived it was a big surprise, of course you see pictures before, but in real life it looks even better. The living room is very spacious and equipped with anything you may possibly need. There are even dvd's for a rainy day. I really liked that there is the Ipod dock to have some nice music. Both the bedrooms are great and clean. Comfortable beds, good showers. Kitchen we never used, because of course it is a holiday and we prefer to eat out, but it is nice to have a coffee maker for some morning coffee. Besides all this the roof terrace is awesome! There is a jacuzzi and some beds where we relaxed in the afternoon sun, having some drinks when returning from the beach.
The common pool is nice to cool of a bit after coming back from the beach, from around 4 pm half of the pool is in the shade, so this is nice to cool off a bit, specially since we are all so white skinned and burned horribly, shadow is great!
Finally the location of the appartment is superb! In less then 5 minutes walking you are in the middle of 5th Avenue and close to all kinds of beaches.
Honestly, having been to Playa so many times with my family, this was by far the most relaxed holiday, it is awesome to have the space and just relax!
