Vernasca is a medieval town on one of the famous routes (Via Francigena) that pilgrims, used to get to Rome from the rest of Europe.
It’s a small town with all the main amenities. Market day is on Tuesday, but within 30mn drive there is a market for every day of the week.
The vineyard area Bacedasco produces the famous Gutturnio and Ortrugo wines. Restaurants and trattorias, are excellent and off great value.
Golf-swimming-horse ridding-tennis are all within easy reach.
