Large Modern Oceanfront Apartment in the Center of the Hotel District

Location, location, location! This property and the owners were marvelous and exceeded all our expectations.

Whether a first time visitor or, like me, a San Juan native visting family for the holidays, this superb property and it's picturesque, central, safe, and easily accessible location will exceed your expectations as well.

The reality of the apartment amenities, condition and beatiful views is even better than the photographs online. Just sitting on the balcony, hearing the ocean, and smelling the salt air made it feel like a vacation. Being able to stay in such comfortable, safe, and functional surroundings was so much better than any luxury hotel nearby. Jesus and Ailsa's hospitality cemented our resolution to make every effort to return soon and avoid hotel stays in the future.

I highly recommend this property and this type of stay to any type of traveler visiting San Juan.

First, Ailsa and Ricky are welcoming, gracious and generous hosts with a truly Puerto Rican sense of hospitality. They have tastefully decorated the apartment with every kind of amenity - a beautiful modern kitchen and lovely artwork. Really, an unique place to stay - it's an apartment you might find in a movie set for Charlie's Angels or a telenovela. When I first saw the pictures, I was worried that it was too good to be true. In person, the place is bigger and more beautiful than the photos! Truly!

Second, the place is stunning. Every person who walks in, gasps. Full views of the ocean, right in the heart of condado. The elevator opens directly into the apartment, because you have the entire 8th floor of the building! There is parking for 2 cars (inside the garage for one, inside the gate for a second). There's 2 boogie boards - which you will need. There's a wine refrigerator, new laundry machines right in the apartment, an amazing stove and oven for those who like to cook.

We walked the beach almost every night - to La Concha and other places for happy hour right on the beach. Check out Oroscos for the best hot sauce and Puerto Rican food and happy hour - and it's significantly cheaper than other restaurants. Another nice place that you might want to check out is "The Place" - about 2 blocks away - where there are lots of craft beers, burgers, and open air seating.

There's a corner store at the end of the block for basic groceries and everything, and a Supermax not far away for more significant needs.

We travel a lot, and rent from VRBO at least 3-5 times per year. This was by far, the very best place we have ever stayed. Hands down. We invited friends to stay with us this trip, because the apartment is so accommodating - 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. They are still talking about their stay. The hardest part was leaving and returning to the cold business of living in the States.

I stayed at this apartment with some friends and it was absolutely perfect for a group of 6 people. It is within walking distance to everything you could need including beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and bars. I would absolutely stay here again if I were to visit San Juan. The owners were very responsive and helpful and checked in from time to time to ensure the stay met our standards. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in San Juan.
