'La Bergerie' is a rare example of typical Provencal property which has been fitted with all the modern facilities. It is located between the charming villages of Fayence and Seillans and it provides a unique opportunity to enjoy local attractions including Cannes, Nice and St. Tropez. It has a south facing terrace, private car park, with unlimited access to the swimming pool. The interior retains a characteristic Provence style. Living room with open fire and sofa bed, satellite TV and stereo. Kitchen with dining table and modern cooking facilities. Bathroom complete with washing machine and dryer. On the first floor, a spacious double bedroom. The property is surrounded by olive trees. Shops, golf and tennis courts nearby, fitted with all the modern facilities. It is located between the charming villages of Fayence and Seillans and it provides a unique opportunity to enjoy local attractions.

Fayence in detail: Fayence is located on a 350 m. high hill and is one of 5 medieval villages. The Bergerie is located about 2 km from the village.

In Fayence you will find everything you may need, shops, markets, post-office, tourist-office, restaurants in all categories, nice terraces.

A gastronomic restaurant is located within walking distance from the Bergerie.

Even in autumn and winter, Fayence remains a lively place and most of the restaurants stay open.

Wine: The region is renowned for its excellent rose wine. Châteaux can be visited.

Nous vous remercions infiniment de votre généreuse hospitalité.
Le troisième séjour dans la région de Fayence et ce premier à la Bergerie a été aussi agréable que nous l'envisagions et meme plus.
La maison est très confortable dans un joli site.
Nous nous sommes promenés jusqu'à Moustier Ste Marie, Tourette sur Loup, les Gorges du Verdon, St. Tropez ou nous avons profité du marché et Nice, le lundi pour le marché aux puces. Le marché aux antiquaires de Fayence était remarquable pour le plaisir des yeux.
Nous avons aussi passé une très bonne soirée au Castellaras.
Le contact ne sera pas arreté avec notre départ. Merci encore

Quel joli lieu que la Bergerie
Caché dans un joli jardin fleuri
Ou se conjuguent Repas et "Calmitude"
Loin, si loin de nos habitudes......
Hélas, dans cet endroit magique,
Se reproduisent trop de moustiques

Il faut vraiment aller voir
Le Fabuleux musée Bonnard
Depuis peu inauguré
Il se trouve à Le Cannet.

Un détour par Tourrettes s'impose
Ou l'Atelier Hung'Art propose
Des créations
Pleins d'émotions

Quant à Corinne, nous apprécions
Toutes ses délicates attentions
Et sa subtile discrétion.

The Bergerie

For one of us this was a first visit to Provence, for the other a re-visit after 47 years; for neither was it a disappointment. More than anything we wanted a rest (after a four day journey!)
So we weren't ambitious in an sight-seeing, but nevertheless we got to Antibes, Nice, Grasse, Mons, The Lake, Fayence and points in between and each day the return to La Bergerie was a pleasure - a perfect home from home, except it was neater, sunnier and calmer and quieter!
We appreciated so much the genuine hospitality of the hosts - quite a unique expierence and all the little touches that made our week so easy:how nice not to have to go searching for washing up liquid, dishcloth on a Sunday!! Gorgeous comfy bed with first rate bedding too. Other owners please note! it was that sense of being interesting guests rather than annoying tenants that made the difference.
All previous recommendations are endorsed, plus wonderful crafts shop opp; Intermarché.

The Bergerie

Our second visit has been even more enjoyable than the first and we can't wait to come back next year.
There is so much to see and do in this area and we already know which bits we have missed and will try to do next time.
As well as the lovely beach at Théoule mentioned by others, and recommended by Corinne, it is also nice at the 'Base Nature' in Fréjus. Follow the signs to the port/nature. Nice beach and very clean toilets. The old part of Fréjus is lovely too.
Once again in August you have to set off early if you go to the coast, especially in the sort of weather we've had (non-stop sunshine)
Le Castellaras continues to be a favourite - it is expensive but you get well looked after and the food is gorgeous.
La France (Fayence) is also good and the Auberge du Chateau is good value but huge portions (beware!)

The Bergerie

We had a wonderful week here, fantastic weather, lovely house and pool, Luigi and Corinne§family are very kind hosts (the tomatoes were delicious, thank you!)
Fayence is a pretty town to visit, there always seems to be something happening there.
We have visited many places. Our favourite is Antibes (Vieille Ville) Nice flea market (on Mondays) in the old town and had a delicious meal at La Voglia in the old town of Nice, very popular, good value.
Cannes is worth a visit to see the "Stars" handprints at La Croisette and the amazing Marina.
Monaco is worth seeing but the traffic was horrendous. St. Paul de Vence is beautiful, Lorgues is pretty and in Flayosc nearby is a great potters -JF Descombes and wonderful oil from the mill.
Théoule sur mer is a beautiful beach, very nice setting, very clean and your car park very close by.
We had a gorgeous meal at "Le Castellaras" (just up the road) with Michelin star and wonderful view of Fayence, expensive as you would expect.
We have so many more places to see so will be back again soon.
