Quiet Getaway in Illinois' Capital

Thank you, Wanda and Rusty, for opening your home to us. We found everything as described. Wanda welcomed us when we arrived and took us on a tour. There was ample space for our children in one room, grandma in another, and one room for us. Because of the rain we didn't bar-b-q but what a fantastic option! We had indeed a quiet 4-day-vacation with day trips to Sringfield sites (Lincoln Library and Museum, Lincoln Home, Dana-Thomas House, and Lincoln Tomb), New Salem, Mark Twain sites in Hannibal, and the St. Louis Arch, Botanical Gardens, and City Museum. Also, again, we are so sorry for accidentally breaking your floor lamp and thank you for being more than understanding. You've been great hosts and we would love to visit again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying in our home. We are glad that you were able to see all the Lincoln sites while you were here. We hope that if you should travel down here again that you will come and visit us again. Thank for the nice review. Rusty and Wanda
