A large 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, sleeps up to 9. Featuring master on suite with king bed, jetted tub and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom offers a queen bed, and the 3rd offers 3 twin sized beds. The spacious, well supplied, eat in kitchen opens into one of the two living areas. Here a sliding door opens onto a spacious deck with spectacular views of Hamlin Lake, especially at sunset. The opposite end of the home offers formal dining area, and a game/TV room with a queen size sleeper sofa. The outdoor includes a fire pit, gas grill, spacious yard, sandy area with steps entering Hamlin Lake. You can keep your pontoon/boat or watercraft in our bay, right in your front yard, available at any time for fishing, tubing, or just enjoying a ride to the State Park or sand dunes. Two kayaks are on the property and available to you.

If you are a fisherman, Ludington is the premier salmon fishing port in Michigan and Hamlin Lake is loaded with walleyes, pike, bluegills, bass, and perch.

Family vacation

The perfect family vacation!
Our recent vacation was wonderful. Our three kids,their spouses and dogs were all able to gather at the wonderful cottage of Pam and Walter.
Pam and Walter were wonderful hosts displaying friendliness and special touches making our stay a memory we will keep forever.
The cottage was spacious, beautiful and completely accomodating. The lake setting and surrounding area had beauty and so much to offer,making our stay so much fun!
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place that has it all.
My thanks again to Pam and Walter.

What a fantastic vacation

Bella Sunset was a fantastic place to spend a week long family vacation. The house is large yet super homey and includes so many wonderful amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking and baking item you could ever need (we cooked three meals a day at the house for the week), my kids loved the toys and games in the living room, the fire pit, we walked in and it just felt like it was our cottage. The owners live in the house adjacent to the rental and are just fantastic. They were so friendly and around anytime we had questions, yet gave us our privacy to enjoy our vacation. The yard is beautiful and secluded from the neighbors, which was really nice. Hamlin Lake is gorgeous and nearby Ludington is wonderful. We can't wait to spend a week next summer at Bella Sunset!!

Great property on Hamlin Lake

This is a great property located on Hamlin Lake. The unit was clean and very well keep.
The owners Pam and Walt were very friendly and helpful.
Unit is well furnished and supplied with all of the nice to haves at a rental: I.E. soap,toliet paper, lighters, etc...
Boat slip was very nice and the lights at the enterence made it easy to locate in the dark.
The only bad things we could find was the phone & internet were not always works propoerly and there is no good place to swim at the property, but the beach is only down the road.

Based on 5 Star review, this place gets a 5 star PLUS ! We have come to Michigan for the last 3 summers and this is by far the best place we have stayed yet. We will most definetly be returning.
The house is wonderful - lots of room, comfortable and homey. The yard is big and the view of the lake and sunsets from the large back deck are fantastic. We loved the fact the boat was parked in the water about 200 feet from the house ! Tree line on both sides of the property give great privacy. Distance to town, shopping and sight seeing was close, but far enough away to be removed from the hustle and bustle when you wanted quiet.
The owners areabsolutely wonderful! Very helpful, caring and considerate of your time and stay here. Thanks go out to them for making our stay this year a GREAT one !!
