The studio has a motel room appeal-new and clean but without the motel amenities-no Internet or Air Conditioning or helpful desk clerk. I was especially disappointed with the kitchenette-it was really just a sink, refrigerator, microwave. A BBQ was not available so I could not cook the wonderful local salmon. The waterfront was not accessible-no swimming, fishing or kayaking.
The owner was not as welcoming and helpful as I would have liked.
Beware of the road system the speed limit is 25 MPH all the way into LaConner. I was slapped with a 247 dollar ticket.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback. You are correct-- I do not offer internet, air conditioning, a full size kitchen, or barbeque. None of these amenities were advertised on VRBO. If you had indicated on the many occasions we chatted that you wanted access to a barbeque I would have been happy to provide you with mine--just as I provided you with my own personal computer/internet in my home. But I will now provide a barbeque for the Studio. The water was, as I said in the welcome letter to you, steps away to public beach access. I welcomed you to use my backyard on the water, which you took advantage of at least once enjoying the beautiful sunset and taking pictures. I lent you new release movies I had rented/enjoyed. I was available with whatever you needed, and mentioned to you daily that if I could do anything or you had any questions I was happy to help.
The speed limit in the area is 45 mph until you reach the residential homes, where it is clearly marked at 25mph. I am sorry you incurred the $247 dollar fine.
