I will recommend this apartment and owner to anyone who is wishing to stay in Heidelberg. The apartment was in the perfect location to many of the area attractions. It was clean and well appointed.
A car was not necessary for getting around Heidelberg because everything was within walking distance. There are an abundance of shops and restaurants on the blocks surrounding the apartment. Schloss Heidlberg was less than 2 miles away. There is a market within a one minute walk as is the bus and train stops. The river was a short five minutes away.
Ms Engleke-Lohkamp provided very detailed instructions, in English, for our arrival which covered everything from picking up the keys to using the public transportation. Mr. Buhler, the caretaker was extremely helpful with any questions we had, he even helped us plan a day trip to Paris.
I would not hesitate to rent this or another apartment from Ms. Engleke-Lohkamp for our next vacation. It was perfect.
