2 Double bedroom flat, sleeps 9. Behind Puerta del Sol

Beautifully designed flat, just renovated by a leading architect. 140 square metres. (1507 ft2), 3 balconies. Next to Puerta del Sol, and very close to Santa Ana Square. Walking distance to Madrid's main architectural attractions: Plaza Mayor, Sol, Royal Palace or the Chueca district, as well as the main Museums: Prado, Reina Sofia, Caixa and Thyssen.

This flat is ideal for both the business traveller or the tourist. The tube is on the doorstep: Sol, Gran Vía and Callao tube stations are within walking distance, as well as several bus stops nearby.

The flat is located in Cadiz Street, with several bars, restaurants and old tapas bars, which are a favourite with most visitors, as well as the locals. The building has lift.

The flat is fully furnished. Ramon was wonderful and the apartment was perfect for our stay. Very spacious and modern with all the conveniences including a clothes dryer! I would recommend this apartment to a friend and would definitely stay again if in Madrid.

We had a wonderful stay in this very beautiful apartment.

The apartment is very well located (in the center of the city), clean and well furnished.
The owner is very friendly and gave us all the information (restaurant, map of madrid...) necessary for our stay.

We really recommend this property and if we return to Madrid, we will return to this apartment.

A comfortable and spacious apartment

We have stayed here for 2 weeks and found the apartment meet our every need. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it would be suitable for 2 couples or a family. It is a perfect place for an afternoon siesta after a hard days shopping or sightseeing and before venturing out for evening tapas and a refreshment.Bars and restaurants are at the front door but take the time to walk to Calle Baja for the best Madrid has to offer.

The metro is neaby but it is often more interesting to walk to a venue and enjoy the street scene. It. only a 10 minute walk to the major museums and galleries. For travel further afield the metro is just fantastic and the station is only 3 minutes from the apartment.

The Renfe is also good for daytrips to Toledo or Segovia.

Great flat in fantastic location

The flat was really good and in a fantastic and lively location (even though it was very quiet inside). Everything went really smoothly with the landlord. Everything just great: the flat was very clean, good internet, a leaflet with all the informations needed, all the beddings were good, towels provided...
We were 6 guys and we had a great weekend there. I will definitely recommend it to any friend who wants to enjoy Madrid.

Wow! This is an amazing flat!

The flat is even better than the pictures. Ramon is a fascinating artist - his work is all over the apartment and he was kind enough to talk about some of his pieces with us when we checked in. We arrived early and he was gracious enough to let us leave our bags while the cleaners were there. The location is fantastic - right near the Puerta Sol (with its metro to everywhere) and you can walk to most sites. There are bakeries, markets, and tons of restaurants and bars to choose from (go to Malaspina right underneath the flat). Having 2.5 bathrooms was a real plus with a family of 4 and two teen boys. Both bedrooms were quite sound-proof and really beautiful. The master bath was gorgeous. One son slept in the living room and the sofa bed was comfortable but it does get noisy in the living room since you're right over some bars. The bedrooms were quiet though. The furnishings are sleek and modern - quite a treat. Elevator & washer/dryer. Well worth the rental cost. I would highly recommend this flat to friends.
