Photos and Description of the Santa Cruz vacation hotel rental

The lakefront rooms have nice views of Lake Nicaragua and Ometepe Island. Also, you can hear the lake waves crashing on the shores in front of you for a relaxing environment. Each room has a deluxe king or queen bed and private patio with a separate entrance to the back patio. We've included alarm clocks with an iPod Connector so you may enjoy your own choice of music. The bathrooms are nicely finished with quality sinks, mahogany cabinets, and anti-slam toilets. The shower floors are finished nicely with nearby lake stones for a nice eco touch. The water pressure is perfect for a nice hot shower to start or finish your day of adventure. All of our furniture is tastefully and locally made teak.

The lakefront cafe and entire B&B was completely remodeled so you will enjoy a full service espresso machine and cappuccino machine, oven, ice maker, a large commercial refrigerator. In the cafe there is a nice island for food prep, and a bar with stools to accommodate your stay. All of the cabinetry is mahogany with granite counter tops, teak furniture, and modern light fixtures for those who appreciate a nice cafe and kitchen.

Our 6 room 8 bath lakefront bed & breakfast with a fully renovated lakefront cafe is available to rent for your group and for events. We are situated on the clean waters of Lake Nicaragua and have a nice 800 meter beach. The location is perfect for lake water sports and adventure, such as, bathing, boating, kite-surfing, canoeing, and bird watching. We also have an open air market and gathering place for a farmer's market, local goods, and lakefront patio for yoga & meditation. Being situated on Lake Nicaragua makes this an ideal location for fishing groups, kitesurfing camps, paddleboarding getaways, kayaking, any watersport you can think of, and rejuvenation retreats/workshops. Our 12 passenger covered boat with a 250HP engine is available to your group for an additional fee.

Also, there is nothing more fun than taking our boat over to Ometepe Island, a 20 minute fun boat ride, for a day of hiking to a water fall, or a visit to one of the natural water springs. After enjoying the lake and island all day, we are uniquely only 25 minutes from the beach town of San Juan Del Sur so we can go catch the Pacific Ocean sunset and have a nice dinner. The south of Nicaragua is the most beautiful place in the world and a great place to be close to nature. Even still, our rooms have A/C, high-speed internet, and other amenities. We call it upscale eco. You are cordially invited to join us and experience it for yourself.

We fully renovated the lakefront bed & breakfast to include upscale amenities, such as, anti-slam toilets, high end mattresses for a great night's sleep, private patios for each room, high speed internet access, mahogany cabinets, Italian porcelain tile, alarm clocks with an ipod connector, and much more. The fully renovated kitchen has a state of the art espresso and cappuccino machine, ice maker, and a huge refrigerator to meet your groups requirements. But also the simple things about La Joya make you fall in love, such as, fresh coconuts hanging all over ready for your enjoyment.

Strategic location...just 5 minutes from the Costa Rica/Nicaragua border, a 25 minute drive from the Pacific beach town of San Juan Del Sur, 15 minutes from Rivas, and a 20 minute direct boat ride to Ometepe Island for adventurous excursions. The lakefront property has approximately 800 meter beach front area. The location is perfect for lake water sports and adventure. The property has two rivers and the lake as borders. Enjoy a day of water sports on Lake Nicaragua or hiking on Ometepe Island by day and then catch a Sunset dinner on the Pacific beach only a 25 minute drive to San Juan Del Sur.
