This delightful, very private apartment retreat is located on the walk-out, lower level of a lakeview townhome on a quiet tree-lined circle in Hot Springs Village. It is just the place to relax and enjoy the wonders of nature that abound here! Park under the magnolia tree and walk down to this special place, where the sounds of the woods and water offer serenity and peace for your special vacation. The apartment features a sitting/eating area with soft, comfortable places for reading and relaxing, as well as a 39' LCD TV and media center with wireless internet. An efficiency kitchen adjoins the sitting area. There is a delightful covered deck and large screened porch, where you can enjoy views of the lake and forest year round. The spacious and well appointed king master opens off the hall and the screened porch.
The apartment's location is ideal for those wanting easy access to all Village amenities. Just take the short footbridge behind the townhome to access the Coronado Center Complex, where you will find a year round heated indoor pool, spa, fitness center, marina and tennis complex (with 13 courts and USTA certified teaching professionals). Behind the pool and fitness center you will also discover a delightful path to walk along the lake!
Because the apartment is located about mid-Village, you will be nearly equa-distant to both entry gates, while enjoying easy access to all eight of our wonderful golf courses and several great places to eat -- including one popular restaurant that is within walking distance.
The apartment is 'dog friendly', and we will warmly welcome your travel companion, providing he/she has good house manners. A small pet fee is required.
Hot Springs Village is America's largest gated community and is a wonderful place to vacation or live, with beautiful scenery, moderate climate, warm and friendly people, relaxed and casual lifestyle and some of the best golf, boating and recreational opportunities you’ll find anywhere! Hot Springs Village and neighboring Hot Springs (just 25 minutes away) also offers numerous great restaurants, live music/concerts, art galleries and events, botanical gardens, horse racing at Oaklawn, family fun at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls and lots of shopping! In a nutshell... it’s the whole package, a great vacation destination or lifestyle choice for retirees or an entire family!
Lake Ouachita State Park and Marina is just 20 minutes from the Village West Gate. Lake Ouachita, dubbed “Arkansas’ Ocean”, is 50 miles long with 200 islands for picnicing and relaxing…….. it is a vacation paradise for those who love boating and fishing, kayaking and scuba diving.
We are former bed and breakfast owners from Durango, CO and we are also open to exchange of hospitality, B&B exchange or vacation home exchange. We are flexible around dates and exchange locales.
I love to travel.... I was educated in Samoa and Japan and served in the Peace Corps. Later, I pursued a career in International Relations and spent several years working for the World Bank in Nepal and Bhutan. Later, I owned and managed two art galleries featuring indigneous art and textiles that I collected on my many travels. I am still travelling a lot, but now work from home doing financial management for medical practices.

This townhome offers me a wonderful place to call home when I am settled in the Village and Woodland Cove apt. is a nice little guest retreat for my friends and family when they come to visit. When they are not using it, I rent it out to paying guests so they can enjoy this lovely spot!
It's peaceful and relaxing.... water is a geat stress-reducer and energizer, so the lake and the Coronado Center complex offers me great views, great places to walk with my little dog, Casper, use the facilities and just enjoy nature!
Dear Mark, it's just the right size! Love the place, and so does Bentley, our puppy. Things were so homey, and I loved all the little accents from your world travel. Close to golf courses for my husband and fitness center for me. We are so glad we found you. Thank you.
I have been a guest at this location several times and find this unit to be one that is cozy, comfortable, and relaxing! Having access to the fitness center, pool, and tennis courts was very convenient. I found this apartment to provide a tranquil retreat to relax as as needed time to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city! I will be back and defiantly will recommend this apartment to family and friends!
Very quiet and comfortable get-away that's close to many amenities including the fitness center & pool! Great place to relax! High speed internet works well! This is our favorite spot in The Village!
We rented this apt to spend our 2 yr wedding anniversary and was greatly disappointed. We were told this was located on the lake and had fishing access - this was our main goal for our week's stay in Hot Springs Village. Upon arrival we discovered we had a lake view, but no access except walking down a steep hill and concrete barrier to get the water and even that area was grown up and not really fishable. We have stayed in Village Villas before and had high expectations. The apartment had no dock or anywhere nearby for us to fish. Also it is directly across from the Coronado Center so the "view" we had was of a parking lot. We specifically wanted a water view and were just disappointed. We were on the bottom level of this townhome and it was very noisey. We could hear every footstep (sounded like a stomping) from around 7am until midnight some nights. Even one day we were trying to take an afternoon nap and were awoken by loud rap music thumping from upstairs. On the first night there we were about to eat our dinner and discovered that several plates, glasses, silverware, and even the pots were put in the cabinets DIRTY! So I had to wash dishes before we could eat our meal. Needless to say I cried the first 2 days of our vacation because I just wanted to go home. It was not an enjoyable stay at all. The original ad on VRBO and ivacationonline listed that a BBQ grill was included and that was how we planned to cook our meals. There was not one on location so we had to go buy a cheap one to use. The owner was contacted and he apologized for the mistake and assured us we would be refunded for the grill but we are still waiting for that credit to be made to our account. Another thing we did not like about the apartment was we had no control over the temperature. The thermostat was upstairs so the upstairs guest had complete control over the temperature. When we were freezing the air was running full blast and when we were burning up the air was not on at all. We had ceiling fans and opened doors to get a breeze blowing. On days it was cold we had to use the electric heaters that were provided. Overall, maybe it was our mistake to have booked an apartment for our vacation, but really this was just the bottom floor converted into an apt and we just were not comfortable at all. We felt very cramped and it was way smaller than our home. We felt like we were camping or "roughing it" instead of having a comfortable vacation. We will be back to HS but not here.
We were here for one week while house hunting in Hot Springs Village. The condo was well maintained and accurate as the pictures indicate. We found it more spacious than expected. The owner has gone above and beyond with special decorating touches. We felt so comfortable. We also enjoyed all the extras provided, dish soap, paper towels, bathroom was well stocked, bath towels were nice, etc. We found a fan to use for "white noise", extra blankets; he was thought of everything. We used the "book" to aid our restaurant selections and things to do. Love the location, very central in the "Village". Will recommend it to friends who might want to check out Hot Springs.
We came here for our 27th anniversary and were delighted that the apartment was secluded by the trees and at the end of a road near the lake so no thru traffic, the quietness was glorious. We spent all our time on the screened in porch, watching the trees sway in the breeze, listening to the birds, and the chipmonks, we even saw 35 canadian geese fly in. We ate all of our meals on the porch, took strolls around the property. This was an unexpected peaceful seclusion that allowed us to recharge and relax. When we go back we will stay here if available and would recommend to anyone wanting peace & quiet. BUt there is plenty to do nice drives to take, hiking nearby, and there were plenty of places to eat if you so desired. A new WalMart is close by for any items you may need. Not a full kitchen but adiquit for small meals.
Woodland Cove apt. is located within the Coronado Center complex..... just across the footbridge from the fitness center, indoor pool and tennis courts
