The Seaward Condominium is renown for its location, located on the white sands of New Smyrna Beach; discribed as one of Florida's nicest and safest beaches. When it comes to relaxing with family and friends, I consider New Smyrna Beach and my luxury apartment as the best. On the beach you will have visions of being on a tropical island or on a distant European location of the French Riviera; in words repeated by many 'it doesn't get any better than this'.. Recently revitalized with the expenditures of over a million dollars, the Seawards presents a crisp and sparkling beachfront community. Blessed by our beach location of approximately five blocks south of Hills Avenue, (access ramp onto the beach), you will be at ease with your family and activities with the knowledge that cars are restricted from driving south on this portion of the beach. Conveniently, for the adventurist, the vehicle beach entrance ramp is with in a half mile of a Northerly drive. Witness many of the beach activities as you drive, volleyball, kite flying, and running bases, and of course do not leave out the building of Sand Cassel's. Continue your drive past the Breakers beachfront restaurant, located next to the exiting ramp on Flagler Ave. Too soon to exit and have a bite to eat at the Breakers or other fine resturants off Flager Ave; continue your scenic drive north to Ponce Inlet. At the inlet witness the Surfers catching the waves, or join them with your own surf board. View with appreciation the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse on the north side of the inlet. Promise your self to drive over the Port Orange Bridge for a closer up front view of the lighthouse. Lunch within in the shadow of the lighthouse at the local popular seafood restaurant. From your vantage, view the returning fishing boats, closely followed by the ever-vigilant Seagull's.
More relaxed by staying at your vacation home. With your morning beverage in hand; step out side onto your balcony, from this second floor vantage, relax and enjoy your beverage while over looking the pool, simultaneously enjoying the grand view of the ocean. View the morning Sunrise and distance shrimp boats, witness beach enthuses negotiating the stairs to the beach for their morning walk or jog. In the evening from this same perspective, witness the day coming to closure with family and friends frolicking in the pool. Located to the right of the pool house, anxious appetites with picnic table set, wait patiently for the barbequing family chef to remove their meal from the grill. The next day comes and you wake up to a beautiful morning. You venture out and feel it is too hot for you and your family to cool off in the crisp waters of the Atlantic or the sun kissed temperatures of the full size Pool or children's Pool. You contemplate retreating to your Shangri La to relax, knowing that it is fully air condition and is well furnish, with the accommodations of three bedrooms, a pull out sofa and a fully equipped kitchen; you are encouraged with lighter thoughts and the enjoyment of your vacation.
It is difficult to summarize all that New Smyrna Beach and my rental unit location has to offer. Children pass the hours away in the pool,'(pool heated January through March)'or with pail and shovel in hand, build Sand Cassel's on the beach. Mom and Dad, family and friends relaxing at poolside or the beach. Every one is content while listening to laughter and witnessing the frolicking of the children. Various day trip destinations with-in an hours drive. A rental unit that is maintained and continually up dated, comfortable with accommodations of no less than an expensive hotel or guess houses. We have owned our unit over forty years. My three children spent their summers and periodic vacations at the Seaward. During the summer, we met families from neighboring states and recently European visitors, of whom some we are still in touch with. As original owners, we have seen many up dating improvements to the Seaward, and have made many of our own. It has always been our second home with up dates and accommodations that were no less than the comforts we enjoyed in our primary residents. Our rental unit is enjoyed by short term vacationer that just want to chill out, and long term winter guest who not only enjoy the rental accommodation, but also the entertaining and shopping amenities' of New Smyrna Beach, not to mention the surrounding areas of Daytona Beach, Orlando and Kennedy Space Center. We maintain a positive out look in life, our personalities reflect it, as does the decor in our rental unit.

Originally, 40 years ago when I purchased In New Smyrna Beach at the Seaward, there were no condominiums in our area that were over three stories high. The Seaward offered a four-storied complex with each unit having a view of the beach. More so, and other than in its location on the beach, is that a washer and dryer is in every unit, and also the availability of two elevators to carry up heavy luggage or groceries, two factors that other condominium's did not offer at the time. The area has grown and other condominiums are several floors higher with multitudes of apartments.
The Seaward by comparison is a smaller with forty-eight units, and cozy. Over the years, the contributing friendliness of the people and welcoming allure of this small community, has always entice vacationer to return repeatedly. I believe we experience the vision of that same community allure when we purchased our vacation home; it was an attraction then and remains to this day.
In its own way the Seaward and its New Smyrna Beach location is unique. Besides enjoying the friendly relaxing Seaward community, its proximity to popular vacation spots like Universal Resorts, Disney World, Kennedy Space Center and the home of the Daytona Five Hundred. We always valued it as our retreat for relaxing and family fun. A five-minute drive to Canal St, two minutes more to Flagler Ave, combined, you have local shopping, restaurants, boat marinas, and a drive on beach entrance. What is unique to us, with all the surrounding amenities, we never felt far from the conducive imagining of a remote Tropical Island, we love it.
My husband, children and I totally enjoyed our two week stay in your apartment. The three bed rooms were very comfortable, we all appreciated the available beach toys for the children and the convinces and proximity of the elevator. Our family looks forward to a return visit and have already recommended your apartment to our parents and friends.
I spent 4 days at this condo at the Seaward. The room is on the second floor with a clear view of both the pool and the beach. Richard was pleasant to deal with and very personable on the phone. I was celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and we had 4 adults and 3 small children in the condo for the weekend, it was perfect! We had a cookout with about 20 people and everyone enjoyed relaxing by the pool and playing on the beach. Jennie, Richard's property manager, is an angel! She was extremely pleasant and accommodating. If I had only dealt with Jennie and Richard this would be a "5 Star" review, however the Seaward manager leaves a bit to be desired, she was rather unpleasant and accusatory. She gave us the impression she was "bothered" by everything, from a ball (not ours) left by the volleyball net to shells left on the ground (again we were not responsible for this). If she were not a factor I would say "excellent". However, she would not deter me from staying there again.
Thx to the owner Richard and his "property mgr" Jennie. They were both so easy to work with and happy to answer all questions. The condo was clean and very well stocked. Having a couple of little ones with us, it was nice having the washer & dryer. The condo is in a great location and the grounds and pool are very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this condo to family and friends.
This was exactly what we were looking for. 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room and was comfortable and very clean. Location is perfect, right on uncrowded section of beach and near the little strip if shops and places to eat. We loved it
My family of 7 and I traveled to NSB for Memorial Day weekend. We wanted to be near a beach and Disney World. We travelled about an hour & some change to Disney, and had a beach. It is also about 20 minutes away from Daytona, but you won't want to leave this area. This condo is EXACTLY how it's described. There was a bit of miscommunication when we arrived, but the property manager was very prompt in getting us in at 3AM! It is so gorgeous with breathtaking views and super clean. The owner and Property Manager was extra helpful in telling us where to eat and shop We cannot wait to come back!
This condo and building is very well maintained. It is a few years old but very clean. Owner was very prompt in his replies and very easy to work with. Other reviews are very accurate about having everything you needed for cooking-we even made a Christmas turkey on Christmas day with mashed potatoes using the hand mixer. Newer washer/dryer. Quiet place where we could open our patio door every morning and hear and see the ocean. Sand was alittle hard (not the soft white sand) but still nice to walk along. We came from Ft Lauderdale airport which was a 3.5 hour drive so would recommend this for Orlando airport travellers or closer to that area. It was a spacious 3 bedroom condo and perfect for our family of 5. One night we had our married daughter and son in law with us and it was still comfortable with 7 of us. Felt very safe going for walks at night as a family. Jennie, the neighbor with the key to let us in, was so very friendly and helpful to us. Excellant value for the money.
My family frequently visits New Smyrna Beach several times a year, although this was our first time staying here. I have to say this was just all the comforts of home. Super clean, comfy beds, plenty of towels and a great view as well!
The kitchen was probably one of my favorite parts, fully stocked with pots, pans and all the utensils you could need to truly cook. I know most people don't want to go away to cook, but my college kids really miss mom's food. We went to the local farmers market (which is a must) and purchased all the supplies to make a wonderful dinner of fresh caught ruby red shrimp.
The condo pool had plenty of chairs, was very clean. There are also grills that are available for use.
The beach is super clean and typically pretty quiet, although we went on Memorial Weekend so it was really busy.
Everyone at Seaward and the owner, Richard could not have been more helpful, we will definately be booking here again!
Your map or GPS will direct you to the Seaward's central East Cost location. Seaward is only a short drive to the Kennedy Space Center, Universal's Resort Orlando Florida's location and Disney World. Charter a fishing boat from the local New Smyrna Beach dock, or at the Ponce Inlet a short drive away. Enjoy casual dinning off A1A just north of Turtle Mound, at JB'S. Go early and rent a Kayak or your own motorized fishing boat, enjoy your catch that evening for dinner.
