Clean, quiet cottage

We stayed at this little cottage, attached to a bed and breakfast, for two nights while visiting Ashland to see 2 plays and enjoy local wineries. The photos accurately depict the unit, light and colorful. The bed was comfy and the thermostat driven gas fireplace kept the cottage nice and warm. Good shower and great towels. The kitchen had nice dishes and glassware. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our mini poodle with us to this cottage.
Unfortunately, we were not informed by the owners that the garbage disposal in the kitchen was broken and that the rather old and unclean stove required turning on the gas and lighting it with matches in order to cook in the oven or on the stovetop. We ended up taking our groceries back home with us. Also, the cottage is several blocks from the Ashland downtown and the Shakespeare Theaters.
As vrbo renters you can add breakfast to your bill if you wish and dine at the bed and breakfast on site. We chose not to add this on.
We highly recommend eating at Amuse for dinner. Wonderful meal and on the way to the theater. We also suggested driving out to the RoxyAnn Winery.
