Tenerife is the largest and the most popular of the Canary Islands.Its all year round warm climate enables you to enjoy the sunshine whenever you wish.The north of Tenerife is the most beautiful part, with the lush green La Orotava Valley.Here you will find the worlds rare types of flowers and trees.You can enjoy the sights either by car,very adequate bus service or easily available cheap taxis.Throughout the area there is an abundance of restaurants serving typical Canarian food.Bars and cafes outdoor and indoor for you to sit and relax and enjoy a glass of local wine and tapas.All around the island there are many beaches for you to explore including the golden beach of Las Teresitas.One not to miss is a visit to the world famous volcano of Mount Tiede Spains highest mountain which has recently been awarded the coveted title of World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There are many small villages where you can sample the laid back Canarian life.
ACTIVITIES:
This part of the island is ideally situated to enjoy walking of different levels either on your own or as part of an organised group.On foot you will have first hand experience of the area and meet local people along the way sampling their warm and friendly nature and generosity.Cycling or Motorbiking are other options.Within 20 minutes drive is the recently completed Buena Vista Golf course where you can enjoy 18 holes of glorious sunshine.Nearby, underwater sea diving instructors and facilities are available.Other activities to enjoy include Horse riding, tennis, paragliding,bird watching and star gazing.
ON ARRIVAL:
On your arrival there will be a welcome pack consisting of typical local produce of Bread,Cheese,Olives,and Local harvested wine. English and Spanish speaking owners will be there to welcome you on your arrival at Los Suertes Cottage.If you prefer we can arrange pick up at the airport for which there will be an additional cost.
