Cozy retreat for two only four blocks from the beach and six from the new Pleasure Pier. Shell Seekers has everything you need for either a weekend get-away or an extended holiday. An outside private patio is the perfect spot to while away the hours or cook a meal on the bbq, or you can catch a breeze on the upstairs deck, listening to the waves. The apartment is compact like a ship's quarters, but with everything you need. The living room has a small seating area with 32' flat screen tv and wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the major appliances, kitchen utensils, dishes and a bar with stools for a meal. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed and lots of storage on the side and above. The bathroom features a tiled shower with beach motif. Bath and beach towels are provided for your convenience.

Don and Reza are world travelers who love reading, dancing, gardening,walking and each other.

Why Reza Dietiker chose Galveston

Reza and Don moved to Galveston in 1999 to escape the winters of Connecticut. They love living on the Island and taking long walks on the beach hand in hand and with their three dogs. They also love the year-round beautiful weather that the island has to offer.

Conviniently located 4 blocks from the beach 6 from the Pleasure Pier ,and minutes away from The Strand (for shopping ) ,Museums, The Grand Theater, and great Restaurants,. Our host Reza and Don were so friendly, they made us feel comfortable. It was our first time using vrbo and it was a great experience. The garage apartment was private and cute. It had everything you would need and more for quick girl gateway. Enjoyed the balcony in the morning and also right before we went out for dinner. We enjoyed the place very much.

Shell Seekers Hideaway was better then I ever expected! Reza and her husband (and their sweet dogs) are wonderful and so kind! This is an awesome place for a weekend getaway or extended stay in Galveston. I can't wait to come back:)

Very nice second-floor apartment, well furnished, clean, quiet and in a convenient location. The owners are wonderful people and pleasant to deal with. Staying at Shell Seekers beats staying at a motel by a mile. The apartment comes with some nice outdoor space: a 2nd floor deck and a private garden area with a barbeque. I really enjoyed my stay.

Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy a private retreat with all the comforts of home? Reza has thought of everything! Hubby and I will definitely choose Shell Seekers again when visiting Galveston.
