The apartment is located on the eighth floor of a modern building with three elevators.
Completely renovated in 2013, there is parquet (massif) throughout the apartment and all appliances are new.
We live in 'The Eiffel Tower District' since we are just four blocks from Champs de Mars (see map). Other famous attractions that are just a walk away, are Napoleon's Tomb, Musee Rodin, The River Seine and the famous cobblestone street Rue Cler.
The closest train stops to our apartement are Cambronne(6), La Motte Piquet(6,8,10) and Segur(10). Hop on these trains and you can get to places like The Arc de Triomphe, Place Concorde, Place de l’Opéra, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Latin Quarter within ten minutes. It truly is an amazing location to see Paris!
I am a native New Yorker married to a French national. I work as a Science teacher at EABJM in Paris. I received my Master's degree at Columbia University.
Elisa Velez purchased this apartment in 2011
My apartment includes most of the characteristics a vacationer would be looking for:
- a clean space where everything works. My apartment was renovated this April
-a bright living space. The living room, kitchen and bedroom are all lined with windows.
-a spectacular view. From our living room and kitchen, you can watch the Eiffel Tower twinkle each hour in the evening.
-a prime location. If you can't walk to the site from my apartment, then you can get to it by train within 15 minutes!
Great view, beautifully renovated, very confortable!
My husband, son and I recently had the pleasure of staying this this lovely Paris apartment. It was perfectly furnished to meet our needs and the view "Ooh la la la la"! The location was perfect - less "touristy" than other districts - very livable. We enjoyed the Sunday open air market on nearby Motte Piquet. The landlord also provided suggestions for groceries and restaurant around us, which meant we stayed close to home for everything but the museums. Check in was simple and pleasant (thanks, Renee). We would definitely recommend this lovely apartment to family and friends and hope to return next summer. It's location is also close to several metro stops, so moving around the city was simple. On Bastille Day we walked to the Champs de Mars a few blocks away to witness the celebration (traffic was horrible so we were happy to walk). This lovely apartment provided us a delightful Paris experience.
My husband I just returned to the the Chicago area from Paris 2 days ago after spending 10 great days in Pais for my birthday. We loved this apartment!!It was close to everything or to transportation, and it became a quiet and peaceful refuge after braving all the sites. The apartment was immaculate, and appointed simply and imaginatively. We loved it and are planning a trip again next year and will stay here!!
This is a great spot to live in Paris while you see the city: livable and spacious, accessible by metro, and convenient to groceries etc. Elisa was very professional to work with and we had a great stay!
We just returned from a great vacation on Paris, It was our first time renting a department instead a hotel room - an excellent option -. We want to thank Elisa for her lovely property, everything was perfect. - clean, well maintained, excellent location, great view of the Eiffel tower, in front of the metro station... - 110% recommend it!!
Thanks again Elisa, we hope to return soon.
This apartment is spectacular and we highly recommend it to others. It is very clean, well equipped and has a brand new interior. It is nicely furnished and very sunny. The view of the eiffel tower is the icing on the cake. The apartment is well located with the metro, supermarket, shopping area and the eiffel tower within walking distance.
Elisa was very helpful in answering any questions we had. She also left detailed instructions concerning the apartment and recommendations for restaurants and sites.
We had an awesome time and would absolutely stay here again in the future.
Thanks for everything!
It is hard to add anything more as the previous reviews have been so glowing. We stayed here the first part of Oct after staying for 8 days in an apartment 1/2 block away. The first apartment was very traditional and quaint with four flights of stairs to climb every night. So we loved Eliza's apartment right off the bat because of the three wonderful elevators!
It was also decorated with a loving touch, where the other one was functional, but very stark. Eliza's was so homey and comfortable! I loved the yellow bistro chairs and matching yellow Eiffel Tower statue! Actually, I loved absolutely everything about the apartment. Our stay there was perfect. It had everything you would need, all kitchen appliances with instructions ( in English! Yay!) and utensils, dishes, etc.. Eliza even included a bottle of wine and some caramels which made the first night even more special.
The bed was higher off the floor than the first apartment, and consequently, more comfortable. The shower was great and even the IKEA sink had lots of space for your own cosmetics etc.
And the view of the Eiffel Tower was unbelievable!!!!!! Every night we could just sit on the sofa or even with your feet up relaxing in the comfortable chair and watch the light show! Every morning you could perch on the stool by the kitchen window and send emails while watching the view of the Eiffel Tower.
The neighborhood was so convenient with the metro right across the street, a wonderful patisserie (bakery) right on the corner ( so you could have Pain au Chocolat for breakfast or a yummy chocolate eclair) and our favorite cafe was the Cafe Cambronne that has amazing Boeuf Bouguignon and the best Croque Monsier ever, where you ate amongst Parisians rather than tourists. We felt safe walking around at night, something we had been worried about.
This apartment just added to the awesomeness of a dream-come-true vacation. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We're in a typical Parisian area where families with young children are mixed with young couples. You will be just steps from local french shops (bakeries, food shops, restaurants).
