Chateau de la Douve is a beautiful and charming chateau, which offers a very peaceful rental for exclusive use. It's located in the Loire-Valley France’s most beautiful region, famous for its castles and vineyards. Situated in a small middle age village in the countryside. Idyllic park of more than 15ha, this property is abundant with privacy and beauty. Chateau de la Douve is newly renovated and furnished and decorated with French and Scandinavian furniture. All the rooms have professional hotel bedding. There are four floors, all connected with escalator. Big impressive hall and main stair, small kitchen, small dining room for 10 persons, big dining room for 20 persons, sitting room and TV-room. Central Heating. Good ventilation system. Fitness, billiard and ping-pong. 25 stables and indoor riding arena. Electricity, heating, cleaning and laundry is included in the price. The manager is at his office at the Chateau 3 days during the week. No smoking inside. No pets.

There is a Baker in the village and within a radius of 50-70 km you will find a lot of golf courses, horse racetracks, a lot of historic castles, on the big rivers you can rent canoe and motorboats. After Paris and the Côte de’ Azur this is the most touristic region of France. The Loire attracts over 2,4 million tourists a year. The landscape is stunning and all the villages are full of character. Here there are numerous antique markets. Famous castles such as Angers, Saumur, Chenonceau, Chambord, Blois and Brissac. Lovely beaches at the Atlantic Ocean only 120 km away. 150 km to the historic coastline in Brittany. 150 km to the world famous 'Le Mans' racecourse. Take the TGV from Angers to Paris in 1 1/2 hour. Or just enjoy your stay at this peaceful place. For your family holiday, wedding or birthday party. And bring your horses if you want.
