Nice Owner, Homey Place, and Awesome Location
It was our first visit to Snowshoe Mountain. The owner and the place made our stay a wonderful time!
Originally, we were a group of six friends wanting to explore this famous ski resort for the first time. Another friend of ours didn't plan to come along until last minute. It was very kind of the owner, Mike, to accommodate our group of unusual size (7 people) with a very reasonable price. We really appreciated it!
All of us love the place at first sight. Homely decorated rooms, fully-equipped kitchen, convenient location, and helpful staff. We brought our own food so that the kitchen was of the maximal help. The lift ticket window is only next door (2 min walk) and the exit to slopes is just downstairs. There was a bit effort to walk to the bus stop for night skiing in ski boots, but overall the location is superb.
The only concern I had ahead of our trip was that there's no review on this particular property. I was concerned that this could be another VRBO scam. This concern, although reasonable, turns out to be verifiable. I really like this place and would love to vouch for it. This is also the reason that I want to leave this property with a strong positive review.
