2 Houses for rent in long bay, private pool, kite paradise.

We stayed in the larger house with two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one with two queen beds and one with two twin beds), dining table with six chairs, etc. With the new in-ground swimming pool, flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies, we were quite content to hang-out at the house and not rush out the door. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size frig, microwave, stove and oven which worked out great to prepare Christmas dinner, breakfasts each morning, limeade, fruit salad etc. Two beach towels and four beach chairs are also provided. The place is quiet--our neighbors in the smaller house didn't hear the noisy party at Ms. Moonie's the Friday night before we arrived. Best if you have a car so that you can easily get to the beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, snorkeling spots etc, though the couple renting the smaller house just used a bicycle to get around. We recommend Tropical car rental. Also recommend renting a kayak for the day from Big Blue for birding/snorkeling/etc. Favorite local restaurants include Flamingos (coconut grouper), Sailing Paradise and Chinson's (jerk chicken). Daniel, one of the owners, was lovely to work with as well as his on-island manager, Terri from Kite Provo. Even though we aren't kite-boarders, we enjoyed staying here and going down to walk along Long Bay beach and watch the kite-boarders. Would recommend staying here.
