Guestbook comments from the owner
One week on Madeira is not enough. Two to four weeks would work better. With some unsettled weather at the first of the week (April 1-8), we didn't get to our Levada walks until the last few days.
Ocean Vista was very well situated for us. A good wake-up walk downtown (20 min. to starting off points) in the morning, and a choice of buses to bring us back up the hills at night.
The studio apartment is large, very clean, with good well cared for furnishings - beautiful wicker chairs on the porch, which provides a magnificent view of the harbour, and cruise ships coming and going. Ceu was very helpful with rides from and to the airport, including another ride to downtown showing us the route. She was very attentive to our difficulties with a weak wifi signal (concrete walls and floors), until we adjusted to the situation. For a small resort, with the host family living on the property, I think a family photo (or Ceu's photo) should be included in the group of photos shown.
Thank you for everything, Ceu. It was a memorable visit to a much different part of the world. I'm sure it must be stunning when more of the flowers are at their best.
