This stunning professionally redecorated condo features all new furniture in mid century stylings in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Space Needle. Featuring 2 bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two twins that can be made into a king. Stunning views of downtown, skyscrapers, and Lake Union from every window in this condo. A fully equipped kitchen and all linens are included. An ipod docking stereo, 40" LCD HD Sony TV with HD Cable and a netflix streaming enabled Blu Ray player in the living room are provided for your entertainment. Complimentary high speed wireless internet connection and parking are included with your rental.

The condo is on the twelfth floor of a 1949 high-rise building. Building features a recreation room with pool table and big screen TV, and a rooftop deck with amazing views.

With an almost perfect walk score of 98, situated in the ideal Seattle location where Capitol Hill meets downtown. The building is NEXT TO THE WASHINGTON STATE CONVENTION CENTER and just steps to Pacific Place, Westlake shopping centers, live theater, movie theaters, public transportation, and many restaurants. The building is just a few blocks from Swedish Hospital, Pike Place Market, Elliott Bay waterfront, and just one mile to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. You can't get more centrally located than this.

Convenient but too expensive

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
The apartment is clean, well equipped (TV, wireless, nice kitchen) and conveniently located. The building is not very nice, smells bad and we had to wait long time to get the only working elevator. We asked for a Pack&Play and they charged us $45 (if you buy it new from the store it costs you $40). We had to check out at 11am but our flight was later in the afternoon; we asked the property manager if we could leave our luggage somewhere but not only she said no, she also didn't help us at all.

Very nice urban experience on Capitol Hill. Convenient to all downtown Seattle attractions. Elevators are slow, but building is in process of installing new ones. The apartment itself was very well equipped and nicely furnished.

A note to Sky and Sea: This condo has many, many dogs. We watched them pee in the hall and the smell in the hall made it clear there were many animals. Other than the freeway noise which was excessive at this level this is a great place. Convenient, nicely appointed, clean.

Doors need to be greased. They were all very squeaky! Dresser drawers were dirty. Need light bulbs for living room light. Need better living room lighting. Need a better vacuum cleaner. It could use a blender, mixer and more serving bowls. Bathroom floor is sketchy. Characters in lobby and elevator also were sketchy. We travel often...all over the world...and the people there made us feel uncomfortable.

Had a wonderful stay, everything was great, and it met or actually exceeded our expectations. Only one comment: it was rather confusing when the keybox was moved upon checkout, but I may not have read checkout instructions carefully enough. Would definitely recommend the Elektra as a great place to stay in downtown Seattle.
