Pool Grange is a former Victorian Rectory and family home now available for self catering holidays. Located in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, the house sleeps 10 people in 5 double or twin bedrooms, some en-suite. The living accommodation is spacious and comfortable with large Drawing Room, Sitting/ TV Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Breakfast Area, Utility and Conservatory. Situated 3 miles from the busy market town of Welshpool, next to the Montgomery Canal, Pool Grange is in the hamlet of Pool Quay within walking distance of a country pub. Local attractions include Powis Castle, Llanfair & Welshpool Light Railway and Lake Vyrnwy. Walking enthusiasts will find much to do and the Welsh Coast and Snowdonia can be easily reached. The busy towns of Shrewsbury and Chester are close by and worth a visit. Pool Grange is in an ideal location to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside.

It is ideally located in the 'gateway to Wales' within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park and the North and West coast of Wales. The Montgomery Canal is situated at the end of the garden and it is a perfect spot for walking enthusiasts with Offa's Dyke and the Wreakin nearby. There is plenty to do for all the family with local attractions including Powis Castle, Llanfair & Welshpool narrow guage railway, Ironbridge and Acton Scott Working Farm Museum. For those preferring to shop, Shrewsbury, Chester and Birmingham are a drive away. Lake Vyrnwy and the pretty town of Montgomery are worth a visit. You will find beautiful countryside, pretty towns and villages and friendly people in this part of Wales, and you are still within easy reach of large towns and cities, beaches and attractions.
