We love our cottage so much, we want you to spend a week enjoying it, too!

What we like best is:

- its good-sized living and dining area, pretty kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms.

- the classic breezeway/porch that runs the length of the house and across the back.

- our back yard; fenced-in, comfortably landscaped and relaxing.

- that the beach is lovely, “natural”; and only one block away - an easy walk back and forth!

- strolling out to enjoy all the casual fun Dewey has to offer.

- taking a short drive, pretty bike ride or healthy walk into Rehoboth Beach to enjoy kitschy shopping, artisan shops, excellent restaurants and, of course, the Boardwalk.

- taking it easy by catching the local open air 'Jolly Trolly' at the end of the street for a three minute ride to Rehoboth.

- being able to leave the car in the driveway and take advantage of this convenient and homey location.

Talking about yourself is harder than it looks, so let's just keep this short. We're parents of several children who've all survived to adulthood and struck out on their own. We immensely enjoy being grandparents and are not above bribing our grandchildren with toys and late bedtimes. We shamelessly dote on our doggies. We have reached a place in our lives where we can split our time between city and beach. We are secretly geeks. We travel. This cottage reminds us of the places our families had when we were kids… only better applianced with bigger rooms.

This charming cottage is furnished with a delightful mix of beach-elegance. The open floor plan of the living/dining/kitchen area offers wonderful space to catch up with friends and family. The screened breezeway/porch is just right for continuing to enjoy the outdoors while protected after a day in the sun. Chill around the fire pit and relax in our fenced-in backyard.

What makes this cottage unique

* We rent from Sunday to Sunday. Full weeks only. *

We fell in love with this cottage because of its relaxed, classic style, the homey, quiet neighborhood and it's central location. Walk out your front door and head east for 1 short block to tawny sands and rolling waves of the mid-Atlantic. Or stroll through the neighborhood for a block up and to the left to do your daily shopping at Fifer’s Farm market. Off-street parking for up to 3 cars, sleeps up to seven: Master BR with King bed and private bath; 2nd BR with one King bed; 3rd BR has bunk beds - twin on top, Full on bottom. The 2nd full bath is across the breezeway and convenient to both guest bedrooms. Each room has its own air conditioning unit so you can keep your room as warm or cool as you prefer. Outdoor hot/cold shower! Tenants provide linens, towels (including bath mats), all soaps/detergents/cleansers and all paper products.
